The present invention relates generally to topical antiviral compositions, delivery systems, and methods of using the same.

wherein T is derivative of a terpene and R is a derivative of a neurotransmitter acids, wherein the neurotransmitter acids are selected form GABA, glycine, and taurine. Pharmaceutical formulations for oral and topical use as analgesics and anti-inflammatories are also provided. A process for preparing the composition and the formulations are also provided.

In one aspect, the disclosure relates to methods and compositions, i.e., pharmaceutical formulations, for treating and preventing diabetic foot ulcers. In a particular aspect, the disclosed methods and compositions pertain to water-based pharmaceutical formulations that are useful for administration in an aqueous foot bath. The present invention provides compounds and methods for the treatment of LFA-1 mediated diseases. In particular, LFA-1 antagonists are described herein and these antagonists are used in the treatment of LFA-1 mediated diseases. One aspect of the invention provides for diagnosis of an LFA-1 mediated disease and administration of a LFA-1 antagonist, after the patient is diagnosed with a LFA-1 mediated disease.
