Binder-consolidated textile fabrics and methods of their manufacture and use

Textile fabrics consolidated with a binder that is made from a binder system are described. The binder system may include: a) 30% or less by dry weight of at least one polymer based on polyvinyl alcohol; b) 70% or more by dry weight of at least one starch, wherein the at least one starch comprises 50% by weight or more of one or more natural starches based on the total weight of the at least one starch; c) 0 to 10% by dry weight of at least one crosslinker; d) 0 to 10% by dry weight of at least one filler; and e) 0 to 10% by dry weight of at least one additive, wherein a sum of components a) through e) is 100% by dry weight of the binder system. Method of making the textile fabrics consolidated with binders made from the binder systems are also described.

A thermally conductive silicone composition includes silicone as a matrix component and a thermally conductive filler. The matrix component includes a silicone base polymer having a vinyl group and a silicone oil having no vinyl group. The thermally conductive filler includes aluminum nitride particles. The thermally conductive silicone composition includes a peroxide as a curing component. A thermally conductive silicone sheet 1 of the present invention includes the thermally conductive silicone composition (3,4) being applied to at least one surface of a sizing sheet of a glass cloth 2. The thickness of the thermally conductive silicone sheet is 0.1 to 1 mm. Thus, a thermally conductive silicone rubber composition that is flexible and has strength and high thermal conductive properties, a sheet thereof, and a method for producing the sheet are provided.

An encapsulant material for a photovoltaic module. The encapsulant material includes: between 30 and 50 parts by weight of fiber cloth and between 50 and 70 parts by weight of acrylic powder coating. The fiber cloth is made of fiber material. The acrylic powder coating includes an acrylic resin, a curing agent, and an additive. The acrylic powder coating is uniformly coated on the fiber cloth. A method of preparing the encapsulant material includes: uniformly coating the acrylic powder coating on the fiber cloth, thermally bonding the acrylic powder coating and the fiber cloth using pressure and heat, and piecewise cutting the thermally bonded acrylic powder coating and the fiber cloth.

The present invention relates to textile fibre products having a coating comprising polymers based on ethylenically polymerisable monomers with a glass transition temperature of at least 60 and a coating method for coating fibre products with an aqueous polymer dispersion, wherein an aqueous polymer dispersion based on vinyl polymerisable monomers with a glass transition temperature of at least 60 C. is firstly provided, and this is brought into contact with a fibre product and then dried. The invention also relates to the use of corresponding polymer dispersions for the coating of fibre products, correspondingly coated fiber products, use thereof to reinforce mineral matrices, and corresponding fibre-composite materials, in particular textile-concrete composite materials. In particular, the invention relates to a coating means that can be applied to a textile fabric in a continuous, water-based process and enables an optimal introduction of force from the mineral matrix into the textile reinforcement.

A coated nonwoven fiber mat includes a nonwoven fibrous mat having a continuous barrier coating on a surface thereof. The continuous barrier coating includes a set composition of gypsum and a binder. A building panel includes a panel core associated with a coated nonwoven fiber mat. A method of making a coated nonwoven fibrous mat includes depositing a composition of water, gypsum stucco, and a binder onto a surface of a nonwoven fibrous mat and setting the composition to form a continuous barrier coating.
