LAMINATE PRODUCTION METHOD
A method for producing a laminate including a substrate and a rubber layer, the rubber layer having a thickness of 200 m or more from the surface of the substrate, the method including contacting the substrate in a heated state with a polymer latex having a viscosity of 2,000 to 100,000 mPa.Math.s at 25 C. to thereby coagulate the polymer in contact therewith to form the rubber layer.
Shingle roofing coating method and composition
An asphalt composition suitable for use as a shingle roof coating is described. The asphalt composition comprises an oxidized asphalt feedstock and a first concentrate. The oxidized asphalt feedstock has a softening point greater than 205 F. and a penetration of less than 15 dmm. The first concentrate includes an elastomeric polymer and an asphalt flux. The asphalt composition includes 1.5% to 4.5% by weight of the elastomeric polymer.
Water-resistant composition
An example composition includes a cloth, which has on each side thereof, a first waterproofing agent, a barrier which inhibits or prevents environmental degradation, and an elastomeric barrier including a second waterproofing agent. Another example composition includes a cloth with a phenolic resin coating having, on each side thereof, a first waterproofing agent, a barrier which inhibits or prevents environmental degradation, and an elastomeric barrier including a second waterproofing agent.
ARTIFICIAL LEATHER BASE MATERIAL AND GRAIN-FINISHED ARTIFICIAL LEATHER
Disclosed is an artificial leather base material including: a fabric, and an elastic polymer, fine particles, and a plasticizer that have been applied to the fabric, wherein the elastic polymer includes a (meth)acrylic elastic polymer and a polyurethane, the fine particles have a Mohs hardness of 4 or less, and the product of a bending resistance, a durometer Shore C hardness, and a thickness of the artificial leather base material is 200 to 400 mm.sup.2. Also disclosed is a grain-finished artificial leather obtained using the artificial leather base material.
BELT-SHAPED FABRIC FOR HOSE, AND HOSE
To provide a belt-shaped fabric for hose and a hose capable of achieving an improvement in terms of workability during hose production. When spirally winding a belt-shaped fabric 14 for covering around the outer periphery of an inner tube rubber 12, and covering the outer side thereof with wire 16 and rubber 18, at least a portion of the fiber forming the belt-shaped fabric 14 is covered with rubber cement 24, whereby weave deviation is not easily generated even when the belt-shaped fabric 14 is spirally wound for covering around the outer periphery of the inner tube rubber 12. In the case where the fiber of the belt-shaped fabric 14 is impregnated with a dip liquid, the dip liquid is not easily exposed to the oxygen in the air, so that it is possible to suppress deterioration of the dip liquid.
SHINGLE ROOFING COATING METHOD AND COMPOSITION
A method for generating a shingle roofing coating is described. The method includes mixing 1% by weight to 20% by weight of an elastomeric polymer with an asphalt flux to generate a concentrate. The concentrate is then heated and mixed with an oxidized asphalt feedstock. The mixture of the concentrate and oxidized asphalt is then heated to generate the shingle roofing coating. The shingle roofing coating includes between 10% by weight and 30% by weight of the concentrate and between 0.1% by weight and 6% by weight of the elastomeric polymer.
Multi-layered coated fabric for personal protective equipment
A coating fabric and method of manufacturing the same are provided. A coated fabric includes a base coating layer. The base coating layer defines a smooth coating to resist liquid penetration to the fabric. The coated fabric also includes a middle foam coating layer that is deposited on at least a portion of the base coating layer. The middle foam layer defines a middle layer foam density and is configured to absorb at least a portion of liquid. The coated fabric further includes an outer foam coating layer that is deposited on at least a portion of the middle foam coating later. The outer foam layer defines an outer layer foam density and is configured with holes to allow liquid to penetrate to the middle foam layer. The middle layer foam density is less than the outer layer foam density. A corresponding method of manufacturing is also provided.
Airbag made from a fabric substrate coated on an exterior side and on an opposite interior side
A dual coated fabric that is well suited for producing vehicle airbags. The coated fabric includes a first coating on one side and a second coating on a second and opposite side. The first coating may comprise an elastomeric coating, such as a cured rubber. The second coating on the opposite side, however, may comprise a non-elastomeric coating. The non-elastomeric coating provides dimensional stability and provides an excellent counterbalance to the elastomeric coating.

Product with absorbed gel
A product with absorbed gel leaving the exposed surface of such product free of stickiness and/or free of the release of oils in any appreciable amounts.
