NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR ORAL POUCHED PRODUCT, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING A NONWOVEN FABRIC
20230180816 · 2023-06-15 · ·

A nonwoven fabric for manufacturing an oral pouched product, where the nonwoven fabric is chewable to increase its liquid permeability. When the nonwoven fabric is used to form a pouch, it may thus control the release of substances from within the pouch. The nonwoven fabric can be formed by applying a diffusion restricting treatment to a base nonwoven fabric. The diffusion restricting treatment may include any of (a) incorporating a digestible compound; (b) incorporating a superabsorbent polymer; (c) incorporating a hydrophobic material; and (d) forming a deformable barrier layer.

Fabric print medium

A fabric printable medium comprising a fabric base substrate, with an image-side and a back-side, having a water proofing treatment including a water-repellant agent applied thereto; an adhesion promoting layer, applied to the image-side of the fabric base substrate, comprising a polymeric compound and a physical networking component; an ink-receiving coating layer over the adhesion promoting layer, comprising a first and a second crosslinked polymeric network; and a barrier layer applied to the back-side of the fabric base substrate, comprising polymeric binders and filler particles with flame retardancy properties. Also disclosed are the method for making such fabric print medium and the method for producing printed images using said material.

Manufacture of a textile or foil-based sheet body of multicompartment structure
20170305110 · 2017-10-26 ·

The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a textile or foil-based sheet body which has a multicompartment structure, wherein the textile or foil-based sheet body is an at least two-ply stitched woven fabric, an at least two-ply fused, welded or adhered foil, a combination thereof and/or a one-piece woven (OPW) fabric, comprising the steps of forming auxiliary channels (2) around the shape of the outer contour of the compartments; filling the auxiliary channels (2) with a mobile silicone-based sealant comprising an additive; and curing the sealant. The invention further relates to the multicompartment vessels obtained by the method of the invention.

Method for preparing a functional film via coffee oil and textile thereof

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a functional film via coffee oil, comprising (a) extracting a coffee oil from coffee; (b) modifying the coffee oil to obtain an epoxidized coffee oil; (c) adding an alcohol into the epoxidized coffee oil to obtain a coffee polyol; (d) synthesizing a polyurethane dispersive solution with the coffee polyol; (e) coating a surface of a substrate with the polyurethane dispersive solution; and (f) drying and fixing the surface of the substrate. The present invention further provides a functional textile comprising a functional film prepared by the method of above.

Aqueous polyurethane dispersion for waterproof breathable coatings

An aqueous polyurethane dispersion comprises a polyurethane polymer obtainable by the reaction of an isocyanate-functional polyurethane prepolymer A) with an isocyanate-reactive component B), wherein the isocyanate-functional prepolymer A) is obtainable by the reaction of a mixture comprising: a polyol component comprising a polyester polyol obtainable by the reaction of a mixture comprising an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and at least one diol selected from the group consisting of linear aliphatic diols and a branched aliphatic diols; and a polyisocyanate component comprising ≧50 weight-%, based on the total weight of polyisocyanates, of dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate. The isocyanate-reactive component B) comprises a compound comprising sulfonate groups which is employed in an amount of ≧3.5 weight-% to ≦10 weight-%, based on the total weight of the polyol component, the polyisocyanate component and the isocyanate-reactive component B). The invention also concerns the use of such an aqueous polyurethane dispersion for coatings, a method of manufacturing a coated substrate and to a coated substrate.
