Methods for treating disorders or diseases associated with hyperlipidemia and hypercholesterolemia while minimizing side-effects
The present invention provides methods and compositions for treating hyperlipidemia and/or hypercholesterolemia comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of an MTP inhibitor to inhibit hyperlipidemia and/or hypercholesterolemia in said subject, wherein said administration comprises an escalating series of doses of the MTP inhibitor. In some embodiments the method comprises administering at least three step-wise, increasing dosages of the MTP inhibitor to the subject. In some embodiments, the method further comprises the administration of one or more other lipid modifying compounds.
Compositions comprising molecularly separated cannabinoids and terpene blends and methods of producing
An oral cannabis composition comprising molecularly separated cannabinoids, MCT oil and a terpene blend. A method of producing the oral cannabis composition comprising the steps of a) producing cannabis extract by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction; b) after step a), winterizing the cannabis extract; c) after step b), distilling the winterized cannabis extract to produce molecularly separated cannabinoids; d) after step c), mixing the molecularly separated cannabinoids with MCT oil; and e) after step d), mixing the mixture of MCT oil and molecularly separated cannabinoids with a terpene blend. A second method comprises the steps of a) selecting a desired mixture of molecularly separate cannabinoids; b) after step a), mixing the molecularly separated cannabinoids with MCT oil; and c) after step b), mixing the mixture of MCT oil and molecularly separated cannabinoids with a terpene blend.
LIQUID COMPOSITION COMPRISING IBUPROFEN AND PHENYLEPHRINE
The present invention relates to a liquid pharmaceutical composition for oral administration in the form of suspension which comprises the combination of ibuprofen and phenylephrine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, as active substances, and hypromellose, xanthan gum, liquid maltitol, glycerine and water. The composition is stable, has good organoleptical properties and shows excellent pharmacokinetic profile, providing quick absorption of the drugs. The present invention also relates to the use of the composition for treating the symptoms of flu and common cold, particularly in adults and in children over 7 years.

The ultra-pure forms, polymorphs, amorphous forms, and formulations of Compound A can be used as therapeutic agents for the treatment of various diseases and conditions such as cancer.
CANNABINOID AND LYCOPENE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY SYNERGISTIC COMBINATIONS
The present invention is directed to a composition comprising a cannabinoid and lycopene, kits comprising same, and methods of using same, such as for treating a subject afflicted with inflammation.
TREATMENT FOR ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA OR MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROME
The invention is related to a method of treating a subject with acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Burkitt lymphoma, or diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, or myelodysplastic syndrome by administration of Compound (I): (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
Indigenous and improved bacterially fermented CBD, CBG and related cannabinoid oral dosage forms
The present invention is a cannabidiol oral dosage form including predominantly or exclusively bacterially fermented hemp pomace, compounded as a tablet or formulated within a capsule generally without the addition of synthetic excipients, fillers or other additives, not including the inevitable presence of some moisture. The dosage forms contain dietary fiber, important to activity as the desired delivery system, having a ratio of one part soluble dietary fiber to 30 parts insoluble dietary fiber and delivers desirable/non hallucinogenic cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, etc.) in a ratio of 60:1 up to 120:1 to hallucinogenic cannabinoids (THC).
Therapeutic compounds, formulations, and uses thereof
Provided herein are compositions, formulations, and (e.g., oral) dosage forms comprising a compound of Formula (I). In specific instances, such compositions comprise an emulsifier, a solubilizer, a polyethylene glycol, a surfactant, and an antioxidant. In some instances, such compositions are useful for the treatment of fibrosis, cancer, and/or chronic inflammation.
Nutraceutical compositions to up-regulate SIRT1 and methods of use
The present invention discloses a nutraceutical composition for up-regulation of SIRT 1 expression. The nutraceutical composition comprises NMN at in an amount between 300 mg and 500 mg, in an amount of 500 mg, and a soluble agent. The NMN and polyphenol are wrapped in a soluble agent as a protective bio-active agent to increase bioavailability and protect the polyphenol compounds during gut absorption. The invention also discloses a method of preparing a nutraceutical composition by weighing polyphenol at a suitable concentration, mixing the polyphenol with a suitable soluble agent and finally adding NMN to the mixture and blended it to form the nutraceutical composition. The nutraceutical composition up regulates SIRT1 and hence is suitable for treatment of various diseases and used in the form of powder, liquid, tablets, capsules, chewable form, gels, etc.
