PRETREATMENT FOR APPLICATION ONTO FINISHED COTTON FABRIC

Disclosed is a process for printing on cotton fabric comprising (1) contacting cotton fabric with an aqueous solution comprising (A) 40% to 70% by weight of at least one multivalent cationic salt; (B) optionally 0.1% to 5% by weight of a blocked isocyanate crosslinking agent, and (C) 3% to 40% by weight of a waterborne resin, all percentages based on the weight of the aqueous solution; (2) drying the cotton fabric to remove the water from the cotton fabric; and (3) digitally printing the pretreated and coated cotton fabric with a water-based textile ink.

Water-based white pigment ink for ink-jet recording and method for forming an image

A water-based white pigment ink for ink-jet recording includes a white pigment and water. The ink further includes a first binder that reacts with a cationic substance contained in a treatment agent applied to fabric to aggregate and a second binder having a lower reactivity with the cationic substance than the first binder.

PROCESS OF PRINTING POLYESTER

Disclosed is a process for printing on polyester fabric comprising (1) contacting polyester fabric with an aqueous solution comprising (A) 5% to 35% by weight of at least one multivalent cationic salt; (B) 0.1% to 5% by weight of a blocked polyisocyanate crosslinking agent, and (C) 3% to 40% by weight of a waterborne resin, all percentages based on the weight of the aqueous solution; (2) drying the polyester fabric to remove the water from the polyester fabric; and (3) digitally printing the pretreated and coated polyester fabric with a water-based textile ink.

Kits and methods of treating a substrate prior to formation of an image thereon

Methods and kits for treating a fibrous substrate prior to forming an image thereon are provided. The method can include positioning a treatment sheet adjacent to the fibrous substrate, transferring a salt (e.g., calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, or a mixture thereof) from the treatment sheet to the fibrous substrate using a wetting solution (e.g., an aqueous solution, such as water) to carry the salt from the treatment sheet into the fibrous substrate, and drying the fibrous substrate such that the salt remains in the substrate. For example, the transfer of the salt from the treatment sheet into the fibrous substrate can be accomplished via pressing the backside of the treatment sheet such that the wetting solution flows from the treatment sheet into the fibrous substrate while carrying the salt.

Method for colour-fixing processing of textile and device therefor

A device for color-fixing processing on textiles includes a supercritical carbon dioxide fluid unit, a fixing liquid storage tank (2) and a fixing reactor (9). The fixing liquid storage tank (2) is below the fixing reactor (9) and sealed connected by a connecting device (6). The fixing liquid storage tank (2) has a cylindrical cavity in which a fluid distributor (4) is mounted. The fluid distributor (4) is composed of several interconnected pipes which bend down with the nozzles downward, and one of the pipes is used as circulated fluid inlet (1) connected with the supercritical carbon dioxide fluid unit, and the rest of the pipes are used as circulated fluid outlets.

Set And Ink Jet Recording Method

A set according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a treatment solution composition that contains particles containing organopolysiloxane and water, and an ink jet ink composition that contains a pigment and water, in which in a ratio of a static surface tension of the ink jet ink composition to a static surface tension of the treatment solution composition, the static surface tension of the treatment solution composition is from 1.0 to 1.5 when the static surface tension of the ink jet ink composition is set to 1, the static surface tension of the treatment solution composition is from 25 to 40 mN/m, and the treatment solution composition and the ink jet ink composition are discharged by an ink jet method and used.
