Inkjet compositions and processes for stretchable substrates
Novel inkjet ink compositions for forming an image in a form of an elastic film attached to a surface of a stretchable and/or flexible substrate and processes utilizing same for inkjet printing color images on various substrates such as colored and absorptive or impregnable stretchable materials, which are characterized by heightened efficiency in process time, ink and energy consumption, as well as products having durable, wash-fast and abrasion-fast images printed thereon by the process, are disclosed. The novel ink compositions comprise a first part, which contains a property-adjusting agent and a carrier, and a second part which contains an emulsified property-sensitive proto-elastomeric film-forming agent, a colorant and a carrier, such that the second part congeals upon contact with the property-adjusting agent. The second part is digitally applied to the substrate less than 1 second following the application of the first part to the substrate.

Textile printing method, dyeing apparatus, textile printing ink, and treatment ink
Provided is a textile printing method that may effectively suppress the risk of ink smearing and that may allow a cured water-soluble, UV-curable resin to be adequately stripped off a fabric so as to dye the fabric in high quality color. A textile printing method includes a pretreatment step of discharging a treatment ink from an inkjet head for treatment toward a fabric to apply the treatment ink to the fabric; a dyeing step of discharging a textile printing ink from an inkjet head for textile printing toward the fabric to apply the textile printing ink to the fabric. In the dyeing step and the pretreatment step, the textile printing ink and the treatment ink are irradiated with ultraviolet light after a respective one of the inks is applied to the fabric.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PIGMENTED POLYMER MATERIAL
Provided is a method for dyeing a polymer material with an aqueous pigment composition containing at least one pigment dispersed therein, wherein the polymer material is a blend including a first polymer composition and a second polymer composition which is compatible with the first polymer composition, which second polymer composition includes a binding agent for the at least one pigment. The method includes the steps of heating the polymer material to an activation temperature below the softening temperature of the polymer material, contacting the polymer material with the aqueous pigment composition at a contact temperature for a period of time sufficient to form a pigmented polymer material, subjecting the pigmented polymer material to a fixation step to fixate the at least one pigment therein by cooling the pigmented polymer material to a fixation temperature which is lower than the temperature at which contacting of the polymer material with the aqueous pigment composition is carried out.

METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PRINTED TEXTILES
A method for manufacturing printed textiles including the steps of: a) inkjet printing an image onto a textile substrate with one or more inkjet printing liquids containing thermally reactive composite resin particles in an aqueous medium; and b) fixing the inkjet printed image by applying directly and/or indirectly a heat treatment to the image; wherein the thermally reactive composite resin particles contain at least one thermal cross-linker and at least one polymeric resin containing functional groups suitable for reacting with the thermal cross-linker.
AQUEOUS INKJET PRINTING LIQUIDS
An inkjet printing liquid contains thermally reactive composite resin particles in an aqueous medium, wherein the thermally reactive composite resin particles contain: a) at least one thermal cross-linker; and b) at least one polymeric resin containing functional groups suitable for reacting with the thermal cross-linker.
POST PRINTING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TEXTILES
A post printing apparatus for drying and curing printed textiles, comprises a first, pre-curing, section to dry a printed textile, a second, curing, section to cure the dried textile from the first section, and a controller. The controller obtains data of the printing of the printed textile and uses that data to control timing and/or temperature of one or both of the first section and the curing section. The apparatus may thus provide a customized post printing process for different kinds and colors of garments and the different printing processes that they may have undergone.
