Pharmaceutical composition containing dabigatran etexilate and preparation method thereof
Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition containing dabigatran etexilate and a preparation method thereof. The pharmaceutical composition comprises a pharmaceutically active ingredient, dabigatran etexilate and/or dabigatran etexilate mesylate, and a amphiphilic polymer of polyvinyl caprolactam-polyvinyl acetate-polyethylene glycol graft copolymer. The mass ratio of the two is 1:0.23 to 1:3. The pharmaceutical composition not only increases the bioavailability of the pharmaceutically active ingredient, but also reduces absorption variability, and provides a more stable concentration of dabigatran in plasma, thereby reducing adverse side effects.
Combination formulation of two antiviral compounds
Disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions comprising Compound I, having the formula: ##STR00001##
and an effective amount of sofosbuvir wherein the sofosbuvir is substantially crystalline. Also disclosed are methods of use for the pharmaceutical composition.
RNA interference delivery formulation and methods for malignant tumors
This invention provides formulations for use in distributing RNAi molecules targeted to a human GST-π for treating a malignant tumor in a subject. The formulation can include nanoparticles composed of an ionizable lipid, a DSPE lipid, and additional lipids. A drug product can be made by lyophilization of the formulation. This invention further provides methods for ameliorating or treating a malignant tumor by administering a therapeutically effective amount of a formulation containing the RNAi agents.
Spray drying process for low aspect ratio particles comprising poly[(methyl methacrylate)-co-(methacrylic acid)]
Embodiments of a spray-drying process for producing low aspect ratio particles of poly[(methyl methacrylate)-co-(methacrylic acid)] (PMMAMA) are disclosed. In some examples, at least 95% of PMMAMA-containing particles made by the process have an aspect ratio <10. The particles may further include an active ingredient and/or an excipient.
ANTICANCER COMPOSITIONS
The present invention concerns pharmaceutical formulations of ARN-509, which can be administered to a mammal, in particular a human, suffering from an androgen receptor (AR)-related disease or condition, in particular cancer, more in particular prostate cancer, including but not limited to castration-resistant prostate cancer, metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer, chemotherapy-naïve metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer, biochemically relapsed hormone sensitive prostate cancer, or high-risk, non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. In one aspect, these formulations comprise a solid dispersion of ARN-509 and HPMCAS. In one aspect, the solid dispersion of ARN-509 and HPMCAS is obtainable, in particular is obtained, by melt-extruding a mixture comprising ARN-509 and HPMCAS and optionally subsequently milling said melt-extruded mixture. In one aspect, the solid dispersion of ARN-509 and HPMCAS is obtainable, in particular is obtained, by spray drying a mixture comprising ARN-509 and HPMCAS in a suitable solvent.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AN EMBOLIZING AGENT PRECURSOR
Disclosed herein are methods relating to manufacturing an embolizing agent precursor. Manufacture of the embolizing agent precursor may involve mixing a first component contained within a first container with a second component contained within a second container, the first component including a plurality of negatively charged gaseous components and a first stabilizer, the second component comprising a plurality of positively charged oil components, a second stabilizer, and a cationic surfactant. Further steps may include mixing the first component with the second component such that the first and second component are held together as a single agglomerated entity.
