Article Of Footwear Incorporating A Knitted Component With A Tongue
The present disclosure provides an upper for an article of footwear. The upper may include a knit element defining a portion of at least one of an exterior surface of the upper and an opposite interior surface of the upper. An inlaid strand may extend through the knit element, and a tongue and the knit element may have a common yarn at least at a forward portion of the tongue, and the tongue may extend through a throat area of the upper.
FABRIC AND ARTICLES HAVING FIRE-RESISTANCE, CUT-RESISTANCE, AND ELASTIC RECOVERY AND PROCESSES FOR MAKING SAME
A flame-resistant cut-resistant fabric, and a glove or other article comprising the fabric, the fabric comprising: (a) at least one first yarn comprising at least 50 weight percent heat-resistant polymeric fiber, wherein at least 30 weight percent of the polymeric fiber present in the at least one first yarn is cut-resistant heat-resistant polymeric fiber having a cut resistance of 500 grams force or higher per ASTM F2992-15; and (b) at least one second yarn having a sheath/core construction with a sheath of halogenated self-extinguishing staple fibers and a core comprising at least one continuous elastomeric filament, wherein 60 to 95 weight percent of the at least one second yarn is halogenated self-extinguishing fiber, and the halogenated self-extinguishing fiber is in contact with the at least one continuous elastomeric filament, the second yarn being free or substantially free of inorganic fibers; the fabric having a maximum after-flame time of two seconds or less and weight loss of 5 weight percent of less when tested per NFPA-2112-2018.
Knitted fabric with leather fibers and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention provides a knitted fabric with leather fibers comprising a ground yarn layer and a face yarn layer directly connected with the ground yarn layer through double knitting. The ground yarn layer includes a plurality of first yarn loops, each of the first yarn loops is formed by a plurality of ground yarns. The face yarn layer includes a plurality of second yarn loops, each of the second yarn loops is formed by at least one face yarn attached with the leather fibers obtained from a piece of leather by a pulverization operation. A course ratio of the face yarn layer to the ground yarn layer is in a range between 1:1.25 and 1:4. Accordingly, the invention provides an innovative knitted fabric and solves the problem that the leather cannot be recycled after being discarded.
Dual function absorbing and cooling textile
Disclosed herein is a warp knit spacer dual functional fabric construction that provides the ability to absorb sweat on one side and the ability to cool skin to below a current temperature whether wetted or dry on the other side. The knit uses four separate yarns which collectively work together to produce enhanced cooling. Knits can include warp knit spacer and circular knit spacer materials. Various finishing methods may also be employed to enhance the cooling power of the fabric.
Knitted Glove and Method for Producing Knitted Fabric Contained in Knitted Glove
A knitted glove includes a knitted fabric including, multiple stages of a first course each of which has a plurality of first loops and a first cross element to connect the first loops to each other and in which the plurality of first loops are aligned in the course direction; and multiple stages of a second course each of which has a plurality of second loops and in which the plurality of second loops are aligned in the course direction, the first knitting yarn constituting the first course has an elongation rate of 12.5% or more, a second knitting yarn includes a yarn containing a cut resistant fiber, between at least one set of two adjacent first loops in one stage of the first course, a loop in another stage of the courses is arranged, and the first cross element is knitted so as to cross over the loop.
Shoe
An article of footwear includes a knitted upper component and a thermoplastic polyurethane yarn stitched into a region of the knitted upper component. The thermoplastic polyurethane yarn is fused with the knitted component at the region of the knitted upper component. The article of footwear may include at least one of an outer sole and a midsole connected to the upper, with at least one of the outer sole and the midsole formed of knitwear.
Textiles and articles, and processes for making the same
Articles of wear having one or more textiles that include a low processing temperature polymeric composition and a high processing temperature polymeric composition, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The low processing temperature polymeric composition and the high processing temperature polymeric composition can be selectively incorporated into a textile to provide one or more structural properties and/or other advantageous properties to the article. The textile can be thermoformed to impart such structural and/or other advantageous properties to the article of wear. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.
Articles Of Footwear And Apparel Having A Partially Fused Fabric Portion And Methods Of Making The Same
An article of footwear can include an upper. The upper includes a knitted portion having yarns partially fused to adjacent yarns and filaments of the partially fused yarns that are partially fused to adjacent filaments. Methods for manufacturing an article of footwear including an upper having a partially fused knitted portion are also described.
FABRIC AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A method of making a multi-ply fabric. The fabric has a top side and a back side with the top side being adjacent to an external environment when the fabric is in use and the back side being adjacent to an object to be cooled when the fabric is in use. The method includes providing a top yarn to form the top side of the fabric and providing a bottom yarn to form the back side of the fabric, with the bottom yarn having a higher SA:V than the top yarn. The two yarns are combined together to form a single fabric, with the top yarn looping through bobbins in the bottom yarn and the bottom yarn looping through bobbins in the top yarn so that the top and bottom yarns are linked and networked to-one-another.
Multiple-layer knitted fabric for dissipating sweat in dual phases
A multiple-layer knitted fabric includes: an inner composite layer formed with hydrophilic yarn and hydrophobic yarn adapted to be contacted with a wearer's skin: an outer dissipating layer formed with hydrophilic yarn or hydrophobic yarn adapted for dissipating moisture and heat outwardly: and a spacer layer integrally formed between the inner and outer layers and formed with hydrophilic yarn for absorbing the moisture of the wearer's sweat from the inner layer and temporarily storing the moisture in the spacer layer, through which the moisture is gradually outwardly transported into the outer layer and then dissipated into the outside atmosphere: thereby keeping the wearer's cool in summer and warm in winter for enforcing his or her comfortable wearing.
