Fastener Stringer
20200138151 · 2020-05-07 ·

A fastener stringer has a fastener tape provided with a tape main body portion and an element attaching portion and a plurality of fastener elements fixed by weaving to the element attaching portion of the fastener tape at the same time of weaving of the fastener tape, and is provided with a weaving structure with one pitch per one-rotation. A weft yarn of the fastener tape has a fineness larger than that of at least a part of a warp yarns disposed in the tape main body portion. Thereby, the productivity of the fastener stringer can be increased to reduce the cost. Further, the density of the weft yarn in the fastener tape can be increased, and the fastener tape can be less likely to be misaligned.

A knitted fastener stringer has a chain stich yarn disposed on the innermost edge wale furthest from the tape body portion of an element attaching portion is the thickest of all the chain stich yarns used in a fastener tape. This enables a distance of a gap formed between left and right fastener tapes to be smaller when a slide fastener is formed by two knitted fastener stringers.

FASTENER TAPE, METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING SAME, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND SLIDE FASTENER SET

Fastener tape is woven from a weft thread and warp threads both of which are threads with a main attribute. The fastener tape includes: first and second side-edges extending along an elongation direction of the fastener tape to define a fastener tape width; and a tape main portion interposed between the first and second side-edges. The tape main portion includes an identification region woven by plural warp threads and the weft thread interlaced with one another, the identification region having an identification region width which is a partial width of an entire width of the fastener tape width and is a width in accordance with a number of the plural warp threads. Structure of the identification region is configured to allow identification that the weft thread and the warp threads are with the main attribute and/or to allow identification of a sub-attribute subdivided from the main attribute.

This fabric fastener tape for a slide fastener is provided with an element mounting section and a tape main body section. The tape main body section is provided with a mesh section. The mesh section has a mesh structure having a framework formed by sets of warp yarns and weft yarns, and the mesh structure has openings formed among the sets of warp yarns and weft yarns. In the mesh section, the weave density of the outermost warp yarn and the outermost weft yarn of each of the sets of warp yarns and weft yarns is higher than the weave density of the warp and weft yarns which are on the inner side of the outermost warp and weft yarns. In the mesh structure of this fastener tape, mesh displacement can be prevented without thermally bonding the crossover points between the warp and weft yarns.

In a slide fastener, a fastener tape is woven with a single-woven structure, and in the fastener tape, a double-woven region woven with a double-woven structure is formed along a tape longitudinal direction. An inner single-woven region and an outer single-woven region of the single-woven structure are formed at a tape inner edge side and a tape outer edge side of the double-woven region. Thus, even if the fastener tape makes contact with ridge line portions on a lower blade side of the slider when the slider is slid, weft yarns arranged in the double-woven region are less likely to be cut.
