Woven products
Disclosed is a woven product adapted to be used as a primary backing layer for a surface, ground or floor covering comprising artificial or synthetic grass or turf. The woven product comprises at least a first woven layer and a second woven layer, wherein the first and second woven layers are interwoven, the first woven layer comprises a plurality of warp tapes/threads and a plurality of weft tapes/threads, the warp tapes/threads and the weft tapes/threads of the first woven layer being substantially perpendicular to one another. The second woven layer comprises a plurality of warp tapes/threads and a plurality of weft tapes/threads, the warp tapes/threads and the weft tapes/threads of the second woven layer being substantially perpendicular to one another.
Method for producing textile products, products obtainable therefrom and method to reclaim the products
The present invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a laminated textile product comprising providing a first intermediate product comprising a primary backing having a front surface and a back surface, and yarns stitched into the primary backing, the yarns extending from the front surface of the backing material, feeding the intermediate product along a body having a heated surface, the back surface being pressed against the said heated surface, to at least partly melt the yarns present in the intermediate product to bond the yarns to the backing, wherein the part of the back surface that is pressed against the heated surface has a relative speed with respect to the heated surface, so as to provide a second intermediate product having a calendered back surface, providing a dimensionally stable carrier sheet or secondary backing, and connecting the second intermediate product to the carrier sheet by providing a hot melt adhesive between the calendered surface and the sheet, and pressing the sheet to the second intermediate product to form the textile product.
NON-WOVEN FABRIC FOR PRIMARY CARPET BACKING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a nonwoven fabric for primary carpet backing and a method for manufacturing same, the non-woven fabric having different colors on the two sides thereof and improved mechanical property. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a non-woven fabric for primary carpet backing and a method for manufacturing same, wherein any one surface of the two surfaces of appears in a range of white to grey and the opposite surface thereof appears in a range of dark grey to black, so that the separate manufacture of non-woven fabrics having various colors according to carpet colors is not required, which facilitates the inventory management of the non-woven fabric, achieves color matching between a carpet pile yarn and a nonwoven fabric for primary carpet backing, and improve the efficiency of the carpet manufacturing process.
Floor covering
A one step method for integrally attaching a backing cover to a universal fiber-reinforced backing before curing. The manufacturing method includes attaching a porous cover to a reinforcement configuration of fibers and adhesive before curing. The cover is pressed against the fibers and adhesive for compressing, collapsing, and flattening the ends of the stitch portions. The compressing and collapsing actions cause adhesive and fibers to be directed toward and forced into the porous cover. Adhesive and reinforcement fibers provide an integral attachment of the cover to the reinforced backing before and after curing.
Floor covering
A method of making a floor covering including a tufted textile substrate and a reinforcement backing system. The backing system includes adhesive layers which are conditioned to include voids. A layer of reinforcement fibers is positioned between the adhesive layers. After drying, the layers of adhesive and reinforcement fibers are compressed to collapse the voids in the layers of adhesive and to encapsulate the reinforcement fibers. The layer of reinforcement fibers is also moved toward the primary backing substrate and into engagement with the ends of the tufts.
Carpet products and methods of making same
A carpet product including a primary backing layer and a plurality of yarn tufts. The plurality of yarn tufts are tufted in and extend upwardly from a top surface of the primary backing layer to form a tufted carpet product. The carpet product has an inner portion and a peripheral portion surrounding at least a portion of the inner portion and extending along at least one of the edges of the primary backing layer. The plurality of yarn tufts include a plurality of peripheral yarn tufts positioned within the peripheral portion of the tufted carpet product. A portion of the peripheral yarn tufts are anchored to other peripheral yarn tufts. At least a portion of each anchored peripheral yarn tuft is entangled with one or more of the other peripheral yarn tufts.
Absorbent floor mat
This invention relates to a multi-component absorbent floor mat. The floor mat contains a textile component, an absorbent component, and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by a variety of mechanisms, including magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways. The absorbent component is designed to be soiled and recycled or otherwise discarded and replaced.
NONWOVEN FABRIC HAVING ENHANCED WITHDRAWAL FORCE FOR CARPET BACKING FABRIC AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a nonwoven fabric having enhanced withdrawal force for a carpet backing fabric, which is composed of a nonwoven fabric comprising 50 to 90% by weight of polyester filaments having a melting point of 250 C. or higher and 10 to 50% by weight of low-melting point copolyester filaments having a melting point of 200 C. or lower. According to the present disclosure, a nonwoven fabric comprising low-melting point polyester fibers is used as a backing fabric and the thickness of the backing fabric is controlled, so that the withdrawal force of carpets is enhanced, thereby suppressing the falling out of BCF yarns from the carpet.
CARPET PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME

The carpet product has an inner portion and a peripheral portion surrounding at least a portion of the inner portion and extending along at least one of the edges of the primary backing layer. The plurality of yarn tufts include a plurality of peripheral yarn tufts positioned within the peripheral portion of the tufted carpet product. A portion of the peripheral yarn tufts are anchored to other peripheral yarn tufts. At least a portion of each anchored peripheral yarn tuft is entangled with one or more of the other peripheral yarn tufts.
