A pharmaceutical composition containing an effective amount of cannabidiol (CBD) for use in treating or preventing a heart condition, along with related methods and uses. The heart conditions include heart failure, acute myocarditis, toxicity caused by anti-cancer therapies, acute pericarditis, cardiac sarcoidosis, inflammatory cardiomyopathy, and atherosclerosis and related uses and methods.
