PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF CELLULOSE PARTICLES
Cellulose particles treated with a bio-based surfactant can be compounded into a polymer composite having improved mechanical properties, such as tensile strength and/or tensile modulus. Treatment can be integrated into an industrial scale continuous cellulose particle production process, and the process provides one or more of reduced environmental impact, reduced energy consumption, reduced chemical consumption, reduced water consumption, reduced processing/operational cost, reduced capital investment, increased output, improved fiber dispersion in the polymer matrix and improved thermal degradation properties of the composite.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING GROWTH OF MICROORGANISMS AND/OR BIOFILMS IN AN INDUSTRIAL PROCESS
The invention relates to a method for controlling of a biofilm, for removing a formed biofilm and/or for controlling a growth of microorganisms, preferably bacteria, in an aqueous environment of an industrial manufacturing process comprising cellulosic fibre material. In the method a composition comprising a compound selected from a group consisting of 3-[(4-methylphenyl)sulphonyl]-2-propenenitrile and 4-amino-N-2-thiazolyl-benzenesulphonamide is administered to the aqueous environment of the process.
Flame retardant paper
A flame retardant paper includes pulp, aluminum hydroxide, guanidine phosphate and guanidine sulfamate, wherein the content of the pulp is 10 to 35% by mass and the content of the aluminum hydroxide is 40 to 70% by mass, and the total content of the guanidine phosphate and the guanidine sulfamate is 0.1 to 10% by mass based on the contents of the flame retardant paper.
STARCH-CELLULOSE COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A composite can include cellulose fiber; and foam binding the cellulose fiber. A method for manufacturing a composite can comprise mixing a plurality of ingredients to form a pre-foam mixture; foaming the pre-foam mixture to produce a foam; mixing the foam with cellulose fiber to form a composite material; and curing the composite material.
