Drug combinations and their use are disclosed. A first drug is administered in combination with a second drug. The first drug such as fenfluramine is characterized by the formation of a metabolite including 5-HT.sub.2B agonists such as norfenfluramine with known adverse side effects. The second drug is in the form of a CYP inhibitor such as cannabidiol which modulates the formation of metabolite down thereby making the first drug safer.

COMPOSITION OR COMBINATION COMPRISING ANIONIC DIETARY SUPPLEMENT AND 25-HYDROXYVITAMIN D

Embodiments of a composition and/or combination comprising an anionic dietary supplement and 25-hydroxy vitamin D are disclosed. The anionic dietary supplement may be a negative dietary cation anion difference (DCAD) supplement and/or may comprise magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, and calcium sulfate, and/or complexes thereof. Also disclosed are embodiments of a method for administrating the combination and/or composition to an animal, such as a ruminant. In certain embodiments, the animal is a dairy cow, and the method may be a method for increasing milk yield, and/or improving the health of the animal.

Compositions and methods for activating antigen presenting cells with chimeric poliovirus

Chimeric poliovirus is capable of activating antigen presenting cells. The activation of the antigen presenting cells may be in vitro, ex vivo, or in vivo. The activated antigen presenting cells may be administered alone or with an antigen or vaccine. The activated antigen may be loaded in vitro or ex vivo with antigen to form antigen-loaded, activated, antigen presenting cells. These may be administered therapeutically. Therapeutic administration of antigen presenting cells may be used as an adjuvant to other therapies.
