OIL AND GREASE RESISTANT PAPERBOARD
A coated paperboard including a paperboard substrate having a first side and a second side, and a coating having one or more layers in contact with the first side of the paperboard substrate, the coating having a coat weight of at least 6.4 lbs per 3000 ft.sup.2 and comprising binder and pigment and containing substantially no fluorochemical or wax, wherein the coated paperboard has a 3M Kit test value of at least 5, is at least 99% repulpable, and has no tendency toward blocking.
NEW SUBSTRATE
There is provided a high-density paper having a grammage measured according to ISO 536:2012 of 30-75 g/m.sup.2 and a density measured according to ISO 534:2011 above 1000 kg/m.sup.3 and wherein the high-density paper is impregnated on each side with 0.3-4.0 g/m.sup.2, such as 0.5-3.0 g/m.sup.2, of a polymer selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH), carboxymethylated cellulose (CMC), nanocrystalline cellulose (NCC) and carboxy methyl starch (CMS).
NEW SUBSTRATE
There is provided a high-density paper having a grammage measured according to ISO 536:2012 of 30-75 g/m.sup.2 and a density measured according to ISO 534:2011 above 1000 kg/m.sup.3 and wherein the high-density paper is impregnated on each side with 0.3-4.0 g/m.sup.2, such as 0.5-3.0 g/m.sup.2, of a polymer selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH), carboxymethylated cellulose (CMC), nanocrystalline cellulose (NCC) and carboxy methyl starch (CMS).
Method for coating a fibrous web, and a surface coated fibrous web
A method is provided for coating a fibrous web, in particular a fibrous web comprising nanocellulose fibres. The method includes steps of applying a coating agent to a textured surface region of a textured substrate, applying a fibre furnish or a wet fibrous web onto the coated textured surface region of the textured substrate, optionally dewatering to provide a wet fibrous web, and drying said wet fibrous web such that at least a portion of said coating agent is transferred to said fibrous web. The method provides a coated fibrous web with improved barrier properties.
Printable compostable paperboard
A coated paperboard including a paperboard substrate having a first side and a second side, and a multilayer coating having two or more layers in contact with the first side of the paperboard substrate, the multilayer coating including a base coating in contact with the paperboard substrate, the base coating having a coat weight from 6 to 10 pounds per 3000 ft.sup.2, and a top coating forming the outermost layer of the multilayer coating, the top coating having a coat weight from 3 to 10 pounds per 3000 ft.sup.2, wherein the multilayer coating comprises binder and pigment, the binder comprising one or more synthetic polymer binders and one or more natural biodegradable binders, and wherein the coated paperboard has a caliper of at least 0.010.
Printable compostable paperboard
A coated paperboard including a paperboard substrate having a first side and a second side, and a multilayer coating having two or more layers in contact with the first side of the paperboard substrate, the multilayer coating including a base coating in contact with the paperboard substrate, the base coating having a coat weight from 6 to 10 pounds per 3000 ft.sup.2, and a top coating forming the outermost layer of the multilayer coating, the top coating having a coat weight from 3 to 10 pounds per 3000 ft.sup.2, wherein the multilayer coating comprises binder and pigment, the binder comprising one or more synthetic polymer binders and one or more natural biodegradable binders, and wherein the coated paperboard has a caliper of at least 0.010.
UNBLEACHED NATURAL BROWN COPIER PAPER AND PROCESS THEREOF
The present invention discloses a composition of an unbleached natural brown copier paper without using any bleaching chemicals or dyes comprising of pulp extracted from waste paper material of corrugated cartons, starch, and fillers. It further includes AKD (Alkyl Ketene Dimer) and enzymes. The waste paper material includes the percentage of 30% to 60% old Indian corrugated cartons (OCC), 20% to 70% old imported corrugated cartons (OCC) and 20% to 50% white record/sorted office paper (SOP).
UNBLEACHED NATURAL BROWN COPIER PAPER AND PROCESS THEREOF
The present invention discloses a composition of an unbleached natural brown copier paper without using any bleaching chemicals or dyes comprising of pulp extracted from waste paper material of corrugated cartons, starch, and fillers. It further includes AKD (Alkyl Ketene Dimer) and enzymes. The waste paper material includes the percentage of 30% to 60% old Indian corrugated cartons (OCC), 20% to 70% old imported corrugated cartons (OCC) and 20% to 50% white record/sorted office paper (SOP).
