Sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may comprises non-wood fibers and may have a formation index of less than about 65. Further, sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may be in the form of a paper towel and may have a tensile ratio less than about 1.7.
Soft Sanitary Tissue Products Comprising Non-wood Fibers
Sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may comprise non-wood fibers selected from the group consisting of bamboo, abaca, and mixtures thereof, and may have a TS7 of less than about 14 dB V.sup.2 rms. Sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may comprise bamboo fibers and may have a TS750 less than about 20 dB V.sup.2 rms. Sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may be structured and may comprise non-wood fibers selected from the group consisting of bamboo, abaca, and mixtures thereof, and may have a TS750 less than about 45 dB V.sup.2 rms. Sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may comprise non-wood fibers selected from the group consisting of bamboo, abaca, and mixtures thereof, and may have a slip stick less than about 435. Sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may comprise non-wood fibers selected from the group consisting of bamboo, abaca, and mixtures thereof, and may have a slip stick less than about 605.
SOFT TREATED TISSUE PRODUCT
The present invention provides multi-ply creped tissue products, and in particular embodiments creped wet-pressed tissue products, having substantially higher per-ply basis weights, such as from about 14.0 grams per square meter or greater. Despite having relatively high per-ply basis weights, the products are generally soft and flexible, such as having a softness value (measured as TS7) less than about 10.0 and a Stiffness Index less than about 20.0. While being soft and flexible, the tissue products are durable enough to withstand use, such as having a geometric mean tensile (GMT) greater than about 1,000 g/3″.
EMBOSSED TISSUE
Disclosed are embossed multi-ply tissue products having improved bulk, softness, strength, embossment clarity and/or embossment height. The multi-ply tissue products comprise a first tissue ply having a plurality of embossments arranged in an open first pattern such as open, continuous line elements, which may be substantially oriented in the cross-machine direction (CD). The products further comprise a second ply having a plurality of micro-embossments disposed in a second pattern. The first and second embossing patterns are such that when the first and second plies are joined to form the product the first and second patterns are not in registration with one another.
ABSORBENT PAPER PRODUCTS HAVING UNIQUE PHYSICAL STRENGTH PROPERTIES
A differential density absorbent towel paper product comprising at least one absorbent towel paper web is disclosed. The absorbent towel paper web has: (a) from about 20% to about 90% by weight of the dry fiber basis of the absorbent towel paper web of a refined soft wood pulp fiber mixture, (b) pulp fibers selected from the group consisting of hard wood fibers, non-wood fibers, recycled fibers, synthetic polymer fibers, bleached eucalyptus kraft fibers, and combinations thereof and, (c) not more than about 10% by weight moisture. The refined soft wood pulp fiber mixture has: i) from about 18.5% to about 88.5% by weight of soft wood pulp fiber; ii) from about 0.25% to about 5.0% by of cationic strengthening polymer; and, iii) from about 0.05% to about 20% by weight of cellulose nano-filaments.
TISSUE PAPER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TISSUE PAPER
Tissue paper containing a softener and having a dry tensile strength of 250 cN/25 mm or greater and 400 cN/25 mm or less in a longitudinal direction, a tensile elasticity of 7 N/mm.sup.2 or higher and 15 N/mm.sup.2 or lower, and a hand-feel value HF of 80 or higher, where the hand-feel value is measured using a softness analyzer (TSA), is provided.
Fibrous Structures Comprising Regions Having Different Solid Additive Levels
Fibrous structures containing solid additives, and more particularly, fibrous structures containing two or more regions that comprise different average weight % levels of solid additives and methods for making same are provided.
FIBROUS STRUCTURE-CONTAINING ARTICLES THAT EXHIBIT CONSUMER RELEVANT PROPERTIES
Articles, such as sanitary tissue products, including fibrous structures, and more particularly articles including fibrous structures having a plurality of fibrous elements wherein the article exhibits differential cellulose content throughout the thickness of the article and methods for making same are provided.
DURABLE AND DISPERSIBLE CREPED MULTI-PLY TISSUE
Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products comprising a non-crosslinked binder that are durable and dispersible. The products generally have a Slosh time less than 2 minutes, such as less than about 60 seconds, such as less than about 45 seconds. Surprisingly, the foregoing Slosh times are achieved despite the tissue products having relatively high cross-machine direction (CD) wet tensile strength, such as greater than about 100 g/3″. Typically, increasing wet tensile strength, particularly wet CD tensile strength, negatively effects dispersability and increases Slosh time. Despite this trend, the present invention surprisingly provides a tissue product having a relatively high degree of wet strength and good dispersability.
