Tissue paper
In various embodiments, the present invention provides a moisturizing tissue containing a polyol that has excellent strength while still providing a moist feeling and smoothness peculiar to the moisturizing tissue. The tissue paper has a basis weight of 15.6 to 19.1 g/m.sup.2, a paper thickness of 115 to 150 μm, a content of the polyol of 17.0 to 22.0 % by mass, a moisture content of 10% by mass or more, a dry tensile strength of 310 to 410 cN/25 mm in a longitudinal direction, a dry tensile strength of 120 to 160 cN/25 mm in a lateral direction, a wet tensile strength of 55 to 90 cN/25 mm in the lateral direction, and compression energy WC of 5.0 to 6.5 gf.Math.cm/cm.sup.2 under a load of 50 g/cm.sup.2 using a KES test method.
Resilient, Multi-Layered Wiping Product
A multi-layered web is disclosed that is resilient and/or elastic in the Z-direction. Thus, when the web is compressed, the web assumes a compacted state and then expands to an expanded state when the compressive forces are removed. In one embodiment, the multi-layered web includes a middle layer made from a resilient blend of fibers positioned inbetween two outer layers. The middle layer, for instance, can contain elastomeric fibers, three-dimensional fibers, and/or debonded fibers.
Tissue product made using laser engraved structuring belt
A tissue product including a laminate of at least two plies of a multi-layer tissue web, the tissue product having a softness value (HF) of 92.0 or greater, a lint value of 4.5 or less, and an Sdr of greater than 3.0.
ROLLED PRODUCTS FOR ONE HANDED DISPENSING
The present invention provides rolled products, such as spirally wound rolls of bath tissue comprising a plurality of separably joined sheets, that may be repeatably and reliably dispensed by a user with a single hand. Single handed dispensing of the rolled products is facilitated by the web having a ratio of detach strength, typically having units of grams (g) to cross-machine direction (CD) tensile, having units of grams per 76.2 mm, of 0.65 or less, such as from about 0.10 to 0.65. In this manner rolled bath tissue products may have a CD tensile from about 400 to about 1,000 g/76.2 mm and a detach strength from about 100 to about 500 g.
Tissue paper
The present invention is directed to a two-ply tissue paper including a polyol-containing moisturizer and having excellent softness, smoothness, and strength. In various embodiment, the two-ply tissue paper of the present invention has a basis weight of 16.0 to 25.0 g/m.sup.2 per ply, a two-ply paper thickness of 145 to 180 μm, a dry tensile strength of 120 to 200 cN/25 mm in a lateral direction, a dry tensile strength of 275 to 450 cN/25 mm in a longitudinal direction, a wet tensile strength of 60 to 130 cN/25 mm in the lateral direction, a difference of 40 cN/25 mm or more between the dry tensile strength in the lateral direction and the wet tensile strength in the lateral direction and a value of (wet tensile strength in lateral direction)/(dry tensile strength in lateral direction) of 0.60 to 0.75, and an elongation percentage of 13.0 to 18.0% in the longitudinal direction.
CREPED MULTI-PLY TISSUE PRODUCT
Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products comprising a non-crosslinked binder that are durable, smooth and with low levels of Slough. In certain instances the creped tissue product have a geometric mean tensile (GMT) from about 700 to about 1,500 g/3″ a basis weight from about 45 to about 60 gsm and a Slough less than about 2.00 mg, more preferably less than about 1.50 mg, such as from about 0.10 to about 2.00, such as from about 0.25 to about 1.50 mg. The inventive tissue products also have good durability, such as a Durability Index from about 10.0 to about 20.0, smooth surfaces, such as a TS750 value from about 15.0 to 40.0 and low stiffness, such as a Stiffness Index less than about 10.0.
Method and a machine for of making tissue paper
The invention relates to a method of making tissue paper in a machine for making tissue paper and in which method a fibrous web is passed through at least one press nip together with a texturing belt. The texturing belt has a side that faces the fibrous web in the press nip and the surface of that side is a web contacting surface that is textured. The texturing belt can be selected such that the tissue paper that is manufactured obtains desired values for one or several parameters. The invention also relates to a machine for making tissue paper. The machine comprises a forming section, a drying cylinder, a press having a first press unit and a second press unit between which press units a nip is formed. The second press unit is preferably a shoe roll. The machine also comprises a drying cylinder which is arranged to be heated from the inside by hot steam and on which a fibrous web can be dried by heat. A texturing belt is arranged to run in a loop through the nip and to the drying cylinder such that a fibrous web can be carried by the texturing belt to the drying cylinder and transferred to the drying cylinder. The side of the texturing belt that contacts the fibrous web comprises a layer of a polymer material such that the polymer material will contact the fibrous web and cavities are formed in that surface of the texturing belt that comes into contact with the fibrous web.
Single ply tissue having improved cross-machine direction properties
Provided are tissue webs, and products produced therefrom, that are generally durable, flexible and have improved cross-machine direction (CD) properties, such as CD tensile energy absorption (CD TEA), CD stretch and CD modulus. The inventive tissue products generally comprise a single tissue ply that has been prepared by through-air drying and more preferably by through-air drying without creping. Moreover, the products may be produced using a transfer fabric positioned between the forming fabric and the through-air drying fabric where the transfer fabric imparts the nascent web with a high degree of CD strain.

FIBROUS STRUCTURES
Fibrous structures, and more particularly sanitary tissue products containing fibrous structures having a surface exhibiting a three-dimensional (3D) pattern such that the fibrous structure and/or sanitary tissue product exhibits novel properties compared to known fibrous structures and/or sanitary tissue products, and methods for making same are provided.
