CORRUGATED CARDBOARD, CORRUGATED BOX, AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING A WET PRODUCT
A corrugated cardboard includes a first cellulosic fibered linerboard layer treated with a wet strength agent, a second cellulosic fibered linerboard layer, and a non-wicking corrugating medium attached to and disposed between the first cellulosic fibered linerboard layer and the second cellulosic fibered linerboard layer.
PAPER-SPECIFIC MOISTURE CONTROL IN A TRAVELING PAPER WEB
A network-based system and method for providing desired moisture set point values for individual papers lines based on the physical properties of each liner and the atmospheric conditions associated with a corrugator is disclosed. The desired moisture set point values are based on the hygroexpansivity of each individual paper liner. Once the moisture set point value has been determined, a conditioning apparatus adjusts a moisture value for each liner in order to tune the post-warp characteristics of the final corrugated product.

PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING MULTI-LAYER SUBSTRATES COMPRISING SANDWICH LAYERS AND POLYETHYLENE
Methods for forming multi-layer substrates including top and bottom surface layers and a melt softened thermoplastic material layer between the exterior surface layers, where the thermoplastic material includes polyethylene or has a tan delta value of 0.2 to 0.4 within the temperature range of 100° F.-350° F. The 3 (or more) layers are assembled, and heated, melt softening the thermoplastic material, causing bonding of the thermoplastic layer to the exterior surface layers. A cleaning composition may be loaded onto the multi-layer substrate, where a fluid pathway through the melted thermoplastic material allows the cleaning composition to travel between the surface layers. Adhesion between the surface layers and the thermoplastic layer is provided by the thermoplastic material itself, which bonds to groups of fibers in the surface layers. The process does not require chemical adhesives, any processing water, drying, or the like, so as to be possible with low capital investment.
A NEW MATERIAL, A NEW AND IMPROVED LAYERED OR LAMINATED MATERIAL, FORMWORK AND OR CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT
The invention relates to a method of making a paper product 10, 10.01 to 10.14, wherein the method includes the step of adding natural reinforcing material (31, 31.1, 51, 51.1, 61, 61.1, 71, 71.1) to one of: a) a layer of pulp as it exits or after it exits from a layer formation process or apparatus; or b) a tank 20, 20.1, 20.2 of pulp prior to it exiting from a layer formation process or apparatus; or c) a combination of a) and b). Additionally, the invention relates to paper products made by this process. The present invention also provides a multi-layered material 2.10, 2.10″, 2.10.1, 2.100 to 2.1600, and 100 to 1900, and a layer treatment of a layer or layers of a multilayered material, and a multilayered material which has had such a layer or layers treated by such a layer treatment.
Water Resistant Paper and Solution for Producing Same and Building Structure Employing Same
A waterproof architectural element comprising an elongated panel member composed of compressed fibrous material having a first planar surface and an opposed second planar surface. At least one elongated cellulose layer is composed of Kraft paper having paper basis weight between 30 and 90 pounds and an average thickness between 0.003 and 0.009 inches. The elongated substrate has a first planar face and an opposed second planar face. A polymeric layer overlies at least a portion of the first planar face of the elongated substrate and comprises a polymeric blend of between 50 and 80 wt. % styrene butadiene copolymer and 0.2 and 3 wt. % of a cellulose ether compound. The cellulose ether compound comprises hydrogen or an alkyl group selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, hydroxyethyl, hydroxypropyl carboxymethyl, hydroxyethyl methyl, hydroxypropyl and between 30 and 50 wt. % calcium carbonate and water.

Multi-layered Product Having an Embossed Interior Layer and a Method for Making the Product
A multi-layered product having an embossed interior layer is disclosed along with a method of making the product. The multi-layered product has a first layer with an interior surface, a second layer with an interior surface, and a third layer sandwiched between the first and second layers. The third layer has a first surface and a second surface, and has a thickness there between. The third layer is embossed into a waffle pattern having a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of recesses. Each of the plurality of protrusions and recesses is adjacently aligned and horizontally offset from one another. The plurality of protrusions form a horizontal plane, at the first surface, which is positioned above a horizontal plane formed by the plurality of recesses, at the first surface. The product also has an adhesive which secures the three layers together.
