A single- or double-knit circular knitting machine having a cylinder (11) equipped with cylinder needles and/or a dial equipped with dial needles for the production of single- or double-jersey knitted webs, which machine has at least one thread-selection device, threads being able to be supplied to any cylinder- and/or dial needle by the thread-selection device.

An electronic yarn changing device for a circular knitting machine includes at least two driving units, at least two impelling plates respectively connected to the driving units, and at least two yarn feeding units. The impelling plates are impelled by the respective connected driving units to perform a one-dimensional motion. The yarn feeding units are arranged side by side, and are each provided sequentially with a yarn feeding plate, a yarn clamping plate, a mobile blade plate and a fixed blade plate. The yarn clamping plate includes a plurality of guide columns disposed correspondingly to the yarn feeding plate. The yarn feeding plates are respectively pushed by the corresponding impelling plates to perform a two-dimensional motion due to the plurality of guide columns. The mobile blade plates are also respectively pushed when the corresponding impelling plates perform the one-dimensional motion, and individually perform a one-dimensional motion once being pushed.

A wool knitting machine comprising a shell, a knitting device, a yarn feeding device and a clamping device. When each crochet needle reaches the position of a yarn inlet of a yarn feeding port, the clamping device is clamped with the current crochet needle for clamping the wool, and at the same time, an accelerating gear device is arranged in a hand crank to increase the speed of hand knitting, so that a user can make the first knitting circle compact enough without manually tensioning the wool.

A wool knitting machine comprising a shell, a knitting device, a yarn feeding device and a clamping device. A loop cutting apparatus for a circular knitting machine which has a circular cylinder including a plurality of knitting needles movable independently includes an upper needle dial located on the circular cylinder and a plurality of yarn cutting needle sets radially centered about the axis of the circular cylinder. Each yarn cutting needle set includes a first cutter needle and a second cutter needle movable against the first cutter needle in a first yarn cutting displacement thereof. The first cutter needle has a yarn holding section leaned by a yarn and collaborated with the two abutting knitting needles at two sides to pick up and draw the yarn to form a pile loop and a first cutter section connected to the yarn holding section. The second cutter needle has a second cutter section staggered against the first cutter section in the first yarn cutting displacement to cut the pile loop.

A loop cutting apparatus for a circular knitting machine which has a circular cylinder including a plurality of knitting needles movable independently includes an upper needle dial located on the circular cylinder and a plurality of yarn cutting needle sets radially centered about the axis of the circular cylinder. Each yarn cutting needle set includes a first cutter needle and a second cutter needle movable against the first cutter needle in a first yarn cutting displacement thereof. The first cutter needle has a yarn holding section leaned by a yarn and collaborated with the two abutting knitting needles at two sides to pick up and draw the yarn to form a pile loop and a first cutter section connected to the yarn holding section. The second cutter needle has a second cutter section staggered against the first cutter section in the first yarn cutting displacement to cut the pile loop.
