Fire resistant panel including vertically oriented fire retardant treated fibers and an adaptive covering material
11058228 · 2021-07-13 · ·

Flame retardant panels generally include an adaptive cover layer and underlying batting layer. The cover layer includes a moisture vapor permeable synthetic fibrous layer, and a liquid impermeable but moisture vapor permeable thermoplastic layer disposed on an outer face of the cover layer, wherein the liquid impermeable but moisture vapor permeable thermoplastic layer is in an amount of about 2 to 15% by weight based on a total weight of the synthetic fibrous layer and the thermoplastic layer. The underlying batting layer can have a top surface and a bottom surface, the layer comprising a plurality of substantially vertically oriented flame retardant treated fibers extending from the top surface to the bottom surface; and a binder material.

Polymeric Non-Woven Mat

A non-woven polymeric mat for protecting pipelines, the mat including a plurality of extruded, strands derived from a polymer blend of pelletized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin having a k-value ranging from 60 to 70 and an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), wherein the amount of TPE in the polymer blend ranges from about 2.8 parts by weight to about 4 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of PVC resin in the polymer blend and is sufficient to improve the modulus and tensile strength of the mat, and further wherein the polymer blend is devoid of a nucleating agent and is devoid of a cross-linking agent, and wherein the extruded strands have a specific gravity ranging from about 1.25 to about 1.4.

CLEANING SYSTEM INCORPORATING STITCH BONDED CLEANING PAD WITH MULTI-FILAMENT STITCHES
20210177231 · 2021-06-17 ·

A cleaning pad structure of stitch bonded construction incorporating one or more substrate layers of an absorbent nonwoven material with an optional additional fluid blocking substrate layer of polymer film or other suitable material in juxtaposed relation to the absorbent nonwoven layers. Stitching yarns are introduced in stitching relation through the substrate layers. One face of the pad defines a cleaning surface of raised yarn loops formed by the stitched yarns. The pad further includes an attachment surface facing away from the cleaning surface. The stitches of yarns across the attachment surface define an engagement surface for attachment to cooperating hooking elements across a surface of a mop head to define a hook and loop attachment system.
