WIPE FOR CLEANING BBQ GRILLS
20180206692 · 2018-07-26 ·

A cleaning wipe and a method of using the same to clean surfaces such as BBQ grills. The wipe has a plurality of nodules extending outwardly from a base layer. The nodules are arranged in a pattern and present a number of faces that are oriented at different angles relative to each other. The base layer may be fabricated from a non-woven, spunlace, fibrous material and the nodules may be formed from different material such as PVC or rubber. Abrasive particles may be embedded in one or both of the base layer and nodules. The cleaning wipe may be grasped and brushed against the surface of the grill. The differently angled faces on the nodules provide for multi-directional scraping and removal of food, grease, grime and other materials stuck on the grill's surface.

Biodegradable Nonwoven Fabric and Use of Same

The present invention provides a biodegradable nonwoven fabric which has biodegradability, while having extremely excellent texture, or having good formability and being suppressed in fluffing in an embossed part during forming. One embodiment of the present invention provides: a biodegradable nonwoven fabric which is configured from fibers that contain a biodegradable thermoplastic resin, and is characterized in that the shear viscosity thereof is more than 0 Pa.Math.s but not more than 41.4ln(x)+500.84 Pa.Math.s at a shear rate x (x is from 20/s to 10,000/s) at 230 C., or is characterized in that the biodegradable nonwoven fabric has an embossed part and a non-embossed part, and the embossed part thickness index that is obtained by dividing the thickness of the embossed part by the square root of weight is 2.75 to 4.36 mm/(g/m.sup.2).sup.0.5; or a food filter such as a coffee filter or a filter for tea bags, a mask, a diaper, an agricultural material or a lightweight packaging material, each of which comprises this biodegradable nonwoven fabric.

COMPOSITION FOR BIODEGRADABLE FIBER AND BIODEGRADABLE FIBER MANUFACTURED USING SAME

The present invention relates to a composition for a biodegradable fiber and a biodegradable fiber manufactured using same. In detail, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the composition for biodegradable fibers contains a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) resin bearing 4-hydroxybutyrate (4-HB) repeating units and specifically a first PHA resin and/or a second PHA resin, each bearing 4-HB repeating units and meets a degradation temperature (Td 5% weight loss) of 220 C. or higher as measured by a thermal gravimetric analyzer. Thus, the composition is eco-friendly with excellent biodegradability and biocompatibility and can be used to easily manufacture biodegradable fibers having excellent properties.
