The invention provides a thermal insulation filling material, a preparation method thereof, and a thermal insulation article, and belongs to the technical field of thermal insulation filling material. The present invention can at least partially resolve the problems of poor durability in thermal insulation filling materials, such as wash durability, compression resilience, and the like in the prior art. The thermal insulation filling material of the present invention comprises: spherical fiber assemblies composed of elastic fibers preferably having an elastic elongation of from 80 to 300% and an elastic recovery of from 85 to 99%.

Various embodiments disclosed relate to an abrasive article. The abrasive article includes a nonwoven web. The non-woven web includes a first irregular major surface and an opposite second irregular major surface. The nonwoven web further includes a fiber component comprising staple fibers having a linear density ranging from about 50 denier to about 2000 denier and a crimp index value ranging from about 15% to about 60%. The nonwoven web further includes a binder dispensed on the fiber component and abrasive particles dispersed throughout the nonwoven web.

Provided is a nonwoven fabric for skin care products. The nonwoven fabric includes: a thermoplastic resin fiber having a single fiber diameter of 50 nm or more and 800 nm or less; and a cellulose fiber having a tensile strength measured in accordance with JIS L 1015:2010 8.7.2 of 1.9 cN/dtex or less. A total content of the thermoplastic resin fiber and the cellulose fiber is 85% by mass or more relative to a total mass of the nonwoven fabric for skin care products, and a content ratio by mass of the thermoplastic resin fiber and the cellulose fiber (Thermoplastic resin fiber/Cellulose fiber) is 0.06 to 0.22.

Self-crimped multi-component fibers (SMF) are provided that include (i) a first component comprising a first polymeric material, in which the first polymeric material comprises a first melt flow rate (MFR) that is less than 50 g/10 min; and (ii) a second component comprising a second polymeric material, in which the second component is different than the first component. The SMF includes one or more three-dimensional crimped portions. Also provided are nonwoven fabrics comprising a plurality of SMFs. Methods of manufacturing SMFs and nonwoven fabrics including SMFs are also provided.

The present invention relates to a melt-blown fiber web having improved elasticity and cohesion, and a manufacturing method therefor. The objective of the present invention is accomplished by a melt-blown fiber web comprising a thermoplastic resin which comprises 10 to 60 wt % of thermoplastic resin microfibers and 40 to 90 wt % of non-circular cross-sectional hollow conjugated staple fibers with respect to the total weight of the fiber web.

It is provided that a pre-air-filter, for an internal combustion engine, which allows stiffness to be assured even when the weight is reduced, which also has excellent dust holding properties, and which has an excellent resistance to entry of water. A pre-air-filter for an internal combustion engine (1) contains a nonwoven fabric comprising a first fiber having a melting point of not lower than 80 C. and not higher than 200 C., a second fiber having a melting point of higher than the melting point of the first fiber by not less than 30 C., being crimped, and having a hollow structure, entanglement of the first fiber and the second fiber by needle punching, and fusion of partly or entirely melted first fiber and the second fiber. This pre-air-filter (1) is installed at an air-inlet-side of a main-air-filter (2).

CELLULOSE ACETATE FIBER BLENDS FOR THERMAL INSULATION BATTING

A fiber blend comprising a staple fiber formed from cellulose acetate and a binder fiber. The staple fiber has a crimp frequency of 10 to 30 crimps per inch (CPI), a cut length of 55 mm or less, and a non-round cross-sectional shape. The blend can be made into nonwoven webs for heat-bonding and subsequent use as thermal insulation in, e.g., outerwear, bedding, etc. The cellulose acetate fibers provide superior thermal insulation clo value relative to at equivalent loft.

A material including at least one nonwoven layer of fibers is provided comprising textured yarns, preferably knit-deknit yarns. The textured yarns included in the material enables the mechanical properties of the material to be adjusted to enable the material to conform to high local deformations.
