Cleaning Fabric
Fabrics are provided that include mono-component staple fibers, a first group of split staple fibers comprising a first polymeric material, and a second group of split staple fibers comprising a second polymeric material that is different than the first polymeric material. The mono-component staple fibers, the first group of split staple fibers, and the second group of split staple fibers are physically entangled together to define a consolidated nonwoven. The fabrics may be physically entangled by hydroentanglement.
METHOD FOR MAKING FIBER CONTAINING ACTIVE INGREDIENTS FROM CHINESE HERB
A method for making a fiber containing active ingredients from a Chinese herb. The method includes subjecting a fiber material, which is to be combined with active ingredients from the Chinese herb, to be swelled with a solvent of cellulose and then to be impregnated in a solution of an extract of the Chinese herb. The fiber material is a cellulose fiber or a spunlaced nonwoven fabric made thereof. The method requires no use of adhesives. With the method, the fiber material does not need to be subjected to acidic or basic solutions or high temperature, which would cause the active ingredients to be decomposed. The method can provide a cellulose fiber or a nonwoven fabric made thereof, both of which have a higher content of active ingredients from a Chinese herb and higher durability. Furthermore, the method is simple and is easy to control, and thus, suitable for mass production.
Dispersible non-woven fabric and method for producing the same
The present invention relates to a dispersible non-woven fabric, a method for producing a dispersible non-woven fabric and a wipe or tissue. The dispersible non-woven fabric comprises natural pulp fibers in an amount of from 70 to 90 wt.-% based on the total weight of the non-woven fabric and cellulosic fibers in an amount of from 10 to 30 wt.-% based on the total weight of the non-woven fabric. At least a part of the pulp fibers and of the cellulosic fibers are entangled with each other. At least 20% of the natural pulp fibers have a fiber coarseness of from 1.0 to 2.0 dtex.

Absorbent material
An absorbent material, such as a non-woven web or a tissue paper, includes continuous filaments and short fibers, the short fibers including natural and/or synthetic fibers or staple fibers. The absorbent material exhibits an absorbency speed of equal to or less than 2 s and a weight loss when washed of equal to or less than 5%. The absorbent material can be incorporated into a wipe.
PULP-CONTAINING BIODEGRADABLE NON-WOVEN FABRIC AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a biodegradable non-woven fabric, a method for producing a biodegradable non-woven fabric and a wipe or tissue. The biodegradable non-woven fabric comprises biodegradable fibers and pulp fibers. At least a part of the biodegradable fibers is entangled with each other. At least a part of the pulp fibers is covalently bonded to each other by at least one of the group consisting of a biodegradable binder, a biodegradable wet-strength agent and a biodegradable binder fiber.
Nonwoven Fabric for Increasing the Availability of Chlorine in Solution
Wipes for preventing chlorine depletion suitable for commercial applications (e.g., industrial and consumer disinfectant wipes) are provided. The wipe includes at least one nonwoven layer, at least one pulp layer, and a nonionic modified siloxane additive. The at least one nonwoven layer and the at least one pulp layer may be hydroentangled to form a hydroentangled nonwoven fabric having a first surface and a second surface. Additionally, the nonionic modified siloxane additive may be disposed on at least one of the first surface or the second surface.

Pleated Filter Material for Smoking Articles
A filter material for manufacturing a segment of a smoking article is described, wherein the filter material comprises a hydro-entangled nonwoven and the nonwoven comprises fibers, wherein the fibers are selected from the group consisting of pulp fibers, fibers of regenerated cellulose and mixtures thereof, and these fibers are together contained in the nonwoven in an amount of at least 50% and at most 100% of the mass of the hydro-entangled nonwoven, and wherein the nonwoven is in the form of a web, has a longitudinal direction in the running direction of the web, a cross direction orthogonal thereto and lying in the plane of the web and a thickness direction orthogonal to longitudinal direction and the cross direction. The nonwoven is shaped such that it has a wave structure in the plane formed by the cross direction and the thickness direction with a wave height of at least 50 .Math.m and at most 1000 .Math.m, as well as a wave length (22, 32, 42) of at least 150 .Math.m and at most 5000 .Math.m.
