As a means for resolution, using a main fiber having a fiber diameter of 4.0 m or less and an aspect ratio of 100 to 2,500 and a binder fiber having a fiber diameter of 3.0 m or less and an aspect ratio of 100 to 2,500, a filter medium for a liquid filter in which the weight proportion of the binder fiber relative to the weight of the filter medium is 10 to 50 wt %, and the weight per unit is within a range of 5 to 80 g/m.sup.2, and also a liquid filter are obtained.
HIGH BARRIER NONWOVEN FABRIC
The invention relates to a method for making a nonwoven fabric comprising forming polymer fibers from a melt of the polymer material and using these fibers to obtain a nonwoven fabric during a subsequent nonwoven fabric formation procedure, wherein the melt of the polymer material comprises a melt additive, wherein the method comprises thermal bonding at a temperature higher than 40 C. below the melting point of the polymer material and, additionally, one or both of the following steps: a. improving the mobility of the additive by heat-treating the nonwoven fabric at 100 C. or more for 0.1 seconds or more after the nonwoven fabric formation procedure and/or including a filler having a higher thermal conductivity than the polymer material to the polymer material; b. influencing the polymer crystallinity by including a nucleating agent, branched polymers and/or random co-polymers to the polymer material.
EXTENSIBLE NONWOVEN FABRIC
Extensible nonwoven fabrics having improved elongation, extensibility, abrasion resistance and toughness. In particular, embodiments of the invention are directed to extensible spunbond fabrics comprising a polymeric blend of a metallocene catalyzed polypropylene, polyethylene, and a third polymer component.
HEAT-RESISTANT FIBER STRUCTURE
A heat resistant fiber assembly contains heat resistant fibers having a glass transition temperature of 100 C. or more, the heat resistant fibers being bonded together.
Cleaning Product With Low Lint and High Fluid Absorbency and Release Properties
The present disclosure is directed to a wiping product well suited to absorbing a solvent and releasing the solvent onto an adjacent surface. The wiping product can also be constructed so as to have excellent abrasion resistance. The wiping product can be used in numerous applications and is particularly well suited for wiping unfinished surfaces, such as metal surfaces and composite surfaces for removing contaminants, such as oil and grease. The wiping product is made from a hydroentangled and thermally bonded web containing staple fibers and conjugated fibers.
NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR OUTER SHEET OF ABSORBENT ARTICLE, AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE INCLUDING THE NONWOVEN FABRIC AS OUTER SHEET
A nonwoven fabric for an outer sheet of an absorbent article has a liquid-impermeable sheet having moisture vapor permeability, the nonwoven fabric having a thickness direction and a planar direction, and a first surface and a second surface, the nonwoven fabric including thermoplastic resin fibers, and cellulosic fibers that are cellulosic fibers of which at least a portion form a plurality of fiber masses, the nonwoven fabric comprising a plurality of gaps that are adjacent to first regions of each of the plurality of fiber masses that are facing the first surface, wherein each of the plurality of fiber masses are not joined with the thermoplastic resin fibers.
SHORT FIBER NONWOVEN FABRIC, LOOP MEMBER FOR SURFACE FASTENER, AND SANITARY ARTICLE
One of challenges to be overcome is providing short-fiber nonwoven and loop component with appropriate balance of air-permeability and softness. One of solutions is loop component for mechanical fastener including top layer comprising short-fiber nonwoven and substrate layer comprising short-fiber nonwoven, wherein ratio [average fineness (denier) of the top layer] against [average fineness (denier) of the substrate layer] is 1.5-30, softness of the substrate is less than 60 mm in MD direction and less than 50 mm in CD direction by 45 degree cantilever method, and air permeability of the substrate is 10 to 100 cm3/sec*cm2 by Frajour type method.
SPUNBOND NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR FILTER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAID FABRIC
