Super-hydrophobic fabric and preparation method thereof
The present invention provides super-hydrophobic fabrics and a preparation method thereof, and belong to the field of textiles. The super-hydrophobic fabrics are obtained by finishing Pickering emulsion formed by amphiphilic particles stabilizing low-surface-energy substances in water. Via a one-step finishing method using Pickering emulsion technology, facile preparation of durable super-hydrophobic fabrics is realized. The static contact angle between the finished fabric surfaces and water droplets is greater than 150 degrees, and the water droplets can roll off easily; and after being subjected to 30 times of standard washing tests, the finished fabrics still maintains excellent water repellency. In addition, the Pickering emulsion preparation and finishing process of the present invention are environmentally friendly, pollution-free, facile to operate and widely applicable.

The present invention provides a novel method for producing carboxymethylated cellulose, the method making it possible to economically obtain a high-transparency cellulose nanofiber dispersion. In the carboxymethylation of cellulose, mercerization is carried out in a solvent comprising mainly water, and then carboxymethylation is carried out in a mixed solvent of water and an organic solvent. A nanofiber dispersion of high-transparency carboxymethylated cellulose can be obtained by defibrating the resulting carboxymethylated cellulose.

Disclosed are acetate tow bands comprising identification fibers made of cellulose acetate which exhibit surface markings in a repeated pattern along the length of the identification fibers. The identification fibers can be incorporated into an acetate tow band. The surface markings and repeated pattern can be representative of a bale identifier. The identification fibers can be recovered from a cigarette filter, the repeated pattern decoded, and supply chain information associated with the acetate tow band used to make the cigarette filter can be obtained.
