Shape enhancing garments with discontinuous elastic polymer composition
A garment with shape enhancing function. The garment includes an elastic fabric and polymer composition to enhance shaping.
Synthetic leather fabrics
A woven fabric comprises a plurality of first fibers extending along a first direction, the first fibers having a first modulus of elasticity; a plurality of second fibers extending along a second direction and being woven with the plurality of first fibers, the second fibers having a second modulus of elasticity that is lower than the first modulus of elasticity; and a coating disposed over the plurality of first fibers and the plurality of second fibers. In some embodiments, the coating is a synthetic leather.
SHAPE ENHANCING GARMENTS WITH DISCONTINUOUS ELASTIC POLYMER COMPOSITION
A garment with shape enhancing function. The garment includes an elastic fabric and polymer composition to enhance shaping.
WATERPROOF AND UV-RESISTANT FORM-FITTING COVER MADE OF STRETCHABLE FABRIC
A waterproof and UV-resistant form-fitting cover comprising a four-way stretchable fabric that is pre-cut to an unstretched shape corresponding to 60-80% of a stretched shape that fits onto an object to be covered by the fabric, wherein the fabric is UV-resistant and waterproof. A method of manufacturing a form-fitting cover includes steps of receiving an electronic order specifying a size and shape for the cover, determining a material and blend based on the size and shape, computing a fabric size, and cutting a four-way stretchable fabric to an unstretched shape corresponding to the object to be covered.
Shoe
Described are shoes, particularly a sports shoe, having an upper and at least one of an outer sole and a midsole connected to the upper. As examples, the outer sole is knitted in a unitary fashion with the upper. As further examples, an insert is positioned within the one-piece knitwear, wherein the insert comprises a profile that increases traction of the outer sole.
BIOMATERIAL-BASED ELASTOMERIC MATERIALS
Biomaterial-based elastomeric materials are disclosed, as are methods for making and using such fibrous materials. In some embodiments, a biomaterial textile composition includes a mixture of a thermoplastic elastomer and a second polymer. The biomaterial textile compositions of the disclosure are characterized by desirable combinations of material properties, e.g., elastic modulus and hardness, that make the materials especially suitable for various applications, particularly as leather analogs and similar textiles.

Napped artificial leather and method for producing the same
A napped artificial leather includes: a fiber-entangled body obtained by entangling ultrafine fibers; and an elastic polymer impregnated into the fiber-entangled body. The napped artificial leather has, on at least one side thereof, a napped surface formed by napping the ultrafine fibers. The ultrafine fibers contain 0.2 to 8 mass % of carbon black and 0.1 to 5 mass % of a chromatic pigment, and a total ratio of the carbon black and the chromatic pigment is 0.3 to 10 mass %. A content ratio of the elastic polymer is 0.1 to 15 mass % in the napped artificial leather. The elastic polymer is uncolored and the ultrafine fibers are undyed.
Artificial leather and light-transmitting device fabricated using the same
Provided is an artificial leather, which exhibits light transmitting properties and maintains its texture and touch while being dark-colored and having a medium or higher density, the artificial leather including a fiber entangled body formed of ultrafine fibers having an average single fiber diameter of 0.1 to m; and an elastomer, in which the artificial leather has a thickness of 0.4 to 1.2 mm and a weight per unit area of 80 to 450 g/m.sup.2, where one surface of the artificial leather is a design surface colored with a dye and/or a pigment and satisfies the following Formulas (1) to (3):
L*.sub.155 . . .(1)
L.sub.0>50 . . .(2)
L* <5 . . .(3)
where L*.sub.1, L*.sub.0 and L* are as defined.
