20180274169 · 2018-09-27 ·

Mass production of carpet tiles can be enabled by a method for manufacturing a carpet tile by applying an adhesive layer to a carpet tile base material containing pile, the method including: a first process of mixing 15 to 25 wt. % of urethane resin glue to an acrylic foamed resin to produce 100 wt. % of a mixture, thereby obtaining an adhesive; a second process of subjecting the adhesive to viscosity adjustment to adjust viscosity thereof to 3000 to 6000 cps; and a third process of applying the adhesive to the carpet tile base material by using a screen mesh having a mesh thickness of 20 m or more and less than 100 m and an opening area ratio of 40% to 60%.

Coated fabric products

An air bag coated with a cured organopolysiloxane composition, characterized in that the air bag is top coated with an antifriction coating comprising at least one solid lubricant dispersed in an organic polymer binder.

COATED FABRIC PRODUCTS

This relates to the coating of air bags, which are used for safety purposes to protect occupants of vehicles such as automobiles, and of air bag fabrics intended to be made into air bags. In particular the invention relates to the top coating of air bags and air bag fabrics which have been pre-coated with a cured organic resin coating composition. The top-coat is an anti-blocking coating composition comprising at least one solid lubricant dispersed in an organic polymer binder. A process for applying the top-coat is also described.

Airbag base fabric coating material, airbag base fabric, and method for manufacturing the same

A polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based airbag base fabric aqueous coating material is described. A blocked polyisocyanate component (B-NCO) and liquid polyol are added to polyvinyl alcohol as a cross-linkage improver and a plasticizer, respectively. The B-NCO is composed of or based on a medium-molecular-weight form as a polyether-modified prepolymer, and used concurrently with a low-molecular-weight form in a small amount. The base fabric coating material is applied on one or both of the sides of a cloth of the base fabric and heated. The acquired coating film is a water-insoluble coat and the coating has excellent heat and moisture resistance (hot water resistance) and flexibility.

Composite structure with polyurethane layers, which is substantially free of volatile organic compounds

An embodiment of the present invention relates to a composite structure with one or several polyurethane layers, which is substantially free of volatile organic compounds (VOC). In addition, the invention relates to the method of manufacturing such composite structure. Further, the invention relates to the use of such composite structure, in particular as artificial leather.

Synthetic leather fabrics

A woven fabric comprises a plurality of first fibers extending along a first direction, the first fibers having a first modulus of elasticity; a plurality of second fibers extending along a second direction and being woven with the plurality of first fibers, the second fibers having a second modulus of elasticity that is lower than the first modulus of elasticity; and a coating disposed over the plurality of first fibers and the plurality of second fibers. In some embodiments, the coating is a synthetic leather.

Composite component containing a polychloroprene and/or polyurethane binder

The invention relates to a method for producing a composite component, comprising the steps: i) applying an aqueous composition, which contains a polychloroprene dispersion and/or a polyurethane dispersion, to at least one nonwoven; ii) coagulating the aqueous composition on the nonwoven by bringing the aqueous composition into contact with a coagulant and/or heating to 80 to 220 C., in order to form a semifinished product; and iii) optionally attaching a decoration, which comprises an adhesive film; and iv) thereafter, shaping the semifinished product from step ii) or iii) by pressing and/or heating to 30 to 220 C., in order to obtain the composite component, characterized in that the aqueous composition contains at least one thickener. The invention further relates to the use of the composite component of the invention as part of an interior trim, of a sun visor, of a support part, of a 2- or 3-dimensional sound-proofing panel, of a 3D-printed component, of a padding material, of a collision protection means, of a seat shell and of an impact isolation means.
