Fabric print media
The present disclosure is drawn to a fabric print medium including a fabric substrate, a primary coating layer, and a secondary coating layer. The fabric substrate can have a first side and a second side. The primary coating layer can be applied to the first side of the fabric substrate at a thickness from 2 m to 250 m with a dry coat weight ranging from about 5 gsm to about 300 gsm and can include a polymeric binder and filler particles. The secondary coating layer can be applied to the primary coating layer at a thickness from 1 m to 50 m with a dry coat weight ranging from 0.5 gsm to 50 gsm and can include a first crosslinked polymeric network and a second crosslinked polymeric network. The primary coating layer can be two or more times thicker than the secondary coating layer.
Ink for inkjet textile printing, ink set, and method for producing printed item
An ink for inkjet textile printing is disclosed that contains a pigment, a water-dispersible urethane resin having a film elongation of 600% to 2,000%, a water-soluble organic solvent and water, wherein the weight ratio between the pigment and the water-dispersible urethane resin is from 1:3 to 1:16. An ink set and a method for producing a printed item are also disclosed.
INK COMPRISING DISPERSED NANOPIGMENT MICELLES AND PRINTED TEXTILES OBTAINED THEREFROM
The present invention provides a water-based ink comprising nanopigment micelles, said nanopigment micelles comprising a pigment particle and a polymeric dispersing agent around said pigment particle, whereby said pigment particles have an average particle size between 100 nm and 250 nm. The invention also relates to a printed textile and a dyeing and printing process using said water-based ink.
FLUID SETS
A fluid set can include an ink composition having a pH from pH 7 to pH 10 and a crosslinker composition having a basic pH from pH 8 to pH 10. The ink composition can include from 60 wt % to 90 wt % water, from 5 wt % to 30 wt % organic co-solvent, from 1 wt % to 6 wt % pigment, and a latex polymer including an aromatic (meth)acrylate moiety. The crosslinker composition can include from 70 wt % to 95 wt % water, from 1 wt % to 25 wt % organic co-solvent, and from 1 wt % to 10 wt % polycarbodiimide.
POLYAMIDE COATING SLURRY AND ITS PREPARING METHOD, AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING POLYAMIDE-COATED FABRIC FOR PRINTING
A polyamide coating slurry and its preparing method, and a process for preparing polyamide-coated fabric for printing are provided. The present disclosure provides a polyamide coating slurry for precise inkjet printing with wide applicability simple preparation steps. The surface structure and lipophilicity of the coating can be changed by mixing polyvinyl butyral and polyoxypropylene lauryl ether, urea and poly-N-isopropylacrylamide in polyamide 6, so that the adsorption properties and permeability of the coating to ink are greatly improved, and thus high-precision inkjet printing can be realized.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTED MATTER
A method for producing printed matter is disclosed that includes applying a pretreatment liquid containing a resin and a pretreatment liquid containing a coagulant to a substrate, and after the applying of these pretreatment liquids, applying an aqueous inkjet ink to the substrate using an inkjet system.
INKJET PRE-TREATMENT FLUID FOR DYE SUBLIMATION PRINTING
An example of an inkjet pre-treatment fluid for dye sublimation printing consists of a humectant; a cationic polymer; a surfactant; a co-solvent present in an amount up to about 50 wt % based on a total weight of the inkjet pre-treatment fluid; and a balance of water. In an example of a printing method, the inkjet pre-treatment fluid is inkjet printed onto a textile substrate to form a pre-treated area on the textile substrate.
COMPOSITE SUPPORT AND USES
A composite support includes a first layer or sheet made from a printable or dyed material, a second layer or flexible polymer layer, and a third layer made from a hydrophilic and film-forming polymer. A method of using the support, in particular in digital printing or in dyeing with sublimation dyes, is also disclosed.
Fabric pretreatment for digital printing
An aqueous blend of an azetidinium functionalized polymer and a polymer having quaternary amine groups is disclosed for use as aqueous pretreatment for substrates such as textiles and garments that are going to be digitally printed. The pretreatment may further comprise wetting agents, surfactants, and preservatives. The pretreatment may be dry or wet immediately prior to digital printing and may be heat treated to bond the pretreatment to the substrate and/or the subsequent print ink.
AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF POLYMERIC CAPSULES
An aqueous dispersion of capsules including a resin having at least one repeating unit of formula I, II, and/or III and which is obtainable by contacting, in a liquid including water, a compound A including at least 2 functional groups selected from the functional groups XC(O)CHR1-C(O)R2, XC(O)CCR2; or XC(O)CR1CR2-NR11R12, with a compound B including at least two of NH.sub.2, NH.sub.3.sup.++, or NCO. A method of producing the aqueous dispersion further relates to an aqueous ink jet ink including the resin capsules.
