A treatment liquid composition contains water, 1,2-alkanediol, and an aggregating agent aggregating or thickening components of an ink composition containing a pigment and is used for a printing method performed by causing the ink composition to adhere to cloth by an ink jet method.

The present technology is directed to devices and methods for dyeing a fiber, including pretreatment of the fiber before contacting it with a dye. The present technology is also directed to methods of improving the dyeability of a fiber, as well as increasing the efficiency of the dyeing process and minimizing waste and loss of dye.

A phase-transfer catalytic color fixation processing method for textile includes the following steps: (1) dry-dyeing a textile with disperse reactive dyes in supercritical carbon dioxide fluid under waterless condition; (2) putting the textile in a phase-transfer catalytic fixation device, taking phase-transfer catalyst as the carrier of circulated supercritical carbon dioxide fluid, transporting the ionized fixing catalytic alkaline substance from aqueous phase to hydrophobic supercritical carbon dioxide fluid phase, getting full contact with functional groups on fibers, resulting in the fixing catalytic reaction with disperse reactive dyes.

A dye discharge composition exhibiting extended shelf life and/or pot life and high suitability for inkjet printing on dyed substrates, is disclosed. The composition comprises a reducing agent such as, for example, a sulfur-based reducing agent, and a chelating agent, such as a sodium salt of a polyamino carboxylic acid chelating agent. Use of the dye discharge composition in combination with a translucent colored composition and an optional opaque underbase composition, for forming an image on a dyed substrate is also disclosed. Processes for inkjet printing of an image on a dyed surface using the dye discharge composition, kits for use in such processes or an ink formulation containing same are also disclosed.

An ink jet ink composition for textile printing including a dye containing copper or chromium and 5% to 30% by mass of a cyclic amide that is liquid at normal temperature and that has a normal boiling point in the range of 190° C. to 260° C., wherein the hue angle ∠h° defined by the CIELAB color space on a recording medium ranges from 260 to 310 degrees.

A treatment solution composition for ink jet textile printing contains one or more selected from the group consisting of a glycol solvent with a molecular weight of 100 or less and a sugar with a molecular weight of 400 or less, water, and an alkaline agent.

Described herein is a printing set comprising a curable transparent pre-treatment composition and a fixer composition. The curable transparent pre-treatment composition comprises a curable polyurethane, wherein the curable polyurethane comprises a copolymer of a polyisocyanate; a polyol comprising at least one reactive group selected from an acrylate group, a methacrylate group, an acrylamide group, a methacrylamide group, a styrene, an allyl group and a combination thereof; and a chain-terminating compound comprising a monoalcohol or a monoamine. A treatment liquid composition contains a water-resistant agent selected from a polyamide epihalohydrin polymer and dimethylpyrazole-blocked isocyanate, and a polyamine compound.

A fabric coating composition, comprising from 2 to 50 dry parts of a crosslinking polymer, from 5 to 60 dry parts of a polymeric binder; from 2 to 30 dry parts of pigment fixation agents, parts are based on total dry content of the coating composition; a pH control agent in an amount adjusted to have a pH above 7; and an aqueous liquid vehicle is described. The casings include at least one compartment formed of a water-soluble film, and one or more agents disposed within the at least one compartment. The encased dye tablet includes one or more agents compounded with a filler and a binder. The one or more agents include at least one colorant formulation and at least one fixative.
