Article of footwear incorporating a knitted component with tensile strand

An upper for an article of footwear is configured to be connected to a sole structure and is configured to receive a foot. The upper includes a knitted component having a strobel portion that is configured to be disposed underneath the foot. The strobel portion defines an interior surface and an exterior surface of the knitted component. The strobel portion defines a strobel passage between the interior surface and the exterior surface. Also, the upper includes a tensile strand that extends through the strobel passage.

An article of footwear including an upper incorporating a knitted component having color-shifting properties is provided. Color-shift properties can be generated by one or more lenticular knit structures disposed across the upper of the article of footwear. The lenticular knit structures are formed of unitary knit construction with the remaining portions of the knitted component. The lenticular knit structures have portions formed with different yarns. The different yarns on the portions of the lenticular knit structures generate a visual effect that changes the color of the article of footwear depending on the viewing angle.

The invention relates to a net (200) having a plurality of warps (110) extending in the longitudinal direction (MD) and parallel to each other and several welt threads (120), of which one weft thread extends in each case to and fro between two adjacent warps (110) and connects the adjacent warps (110) to one another. Moreover, the net comprises a first support thread (130, 131) which extends along a warp (110) and penetrates the same at several points (181).

Knitted fabric

A knitted fabric (10) including a plurality of parallel chains of knitted loops (12), with each chain of knitted loops (12) formed from a respective yarn, and with the parallel chains of knitted loops (12) extending in the warp or vertical direction. The fabric (10) also includes a plurality of weft yarns (14), with each weft yarn (14) connected to and extending across at least two adjacent chains of knitted loops (12). Each chain of knitted loops (12) is also associated with at least one respective yarn 16, (18) that is connected to, and intertwines along the chain of knitted loops (12).
