POLYMERIC STRUCTURE AND ITS USES

A polymeric structure, which is obtained by polymerisation of (meth) acrylamide and at least one charged monomer in a polymerisation medium comprising at least a first host polymer, which first host polymer comprises polyvinyl alcohol. The polymeric structure may be used in making of paper, board, tissue or the like as a strength agent, or in dewatering of sludge.

GREASE-RESISTANT FILM, GREASE-RESISTANT BASE MATERIAL, AND GREASE-RESISTANT PAPER

An oil-resistant film may be provided by an oil-resistant base material that is excellent in the oil resistance even in not only a plane part but also a bent part of a package can be obtained and also to the provision of an oil-resistant base material having the oil-resistant film and an oil-resistant paper having the oil-resistant film. An oil-resistant film may contain a polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer (A) and a polymer particle (B) containing a polymer having a glass transition temperature of 40° C. or lower, wherein the content of the polymer particle (B) is 1 part by mass or more and less than 150 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer (A); and an oil-resistant base material (oil-resistant paper) having the oil-resistant film on a base material (paper).

Creped multi-ply tissue product

Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products comprising a non-crosslinked binder that are durable, smooth and with low levels of Slough. In certain instances the creped tissue product have a geometric mean tensile (GMT) from about 700 to about 1,500 g/3″ a basis weight from about 45 to about 60 gsm and a Slough less than about 2.00 mg, more preferably less than about 1.50 mg, such as from about 0.10 to about 2.00, such as from about 0.25 to about 1.50 mg. The inventive tissue products also have good durability, such as a Durability Index from about 10.0 to about 20.0, smooth surfaces, such as a TS750 value from about 15.0 to 40.0 and low stiffness, such as a Stiffness Index less than about 10.0.

Online treated sealable and peelable medical paper for medical sterilization packaging

A method and apparatus for manufacturing medical paper for medical sterilization packaging, medical paper and medical sterilization packaging are disclosed. A paper web is formed of fibrous substrate comprising cellulosic fibers and optionally synthetic fibers, with opposite first and second sides. On-line with the forming of the paper web, reinforcing material is applied on the first side and pressed into structure of the paper web such that delamination resistance of the structure is increased. Sealing material is applied on the second side of the paper web on-line with the forming of the paper web.
