Cosmetic sheet masks for improved product delivery
Nonwoven fabrics may be fashioned as topical delivery systems with increased and controllable rate of product release, while still possessing the requisite strength and durability for mass production and distribution. Such delivery systems comprise fabrics that are fashioned from micro-denier fibers that are produced by fibrillating bicomponent island-in-the-sea fibers. Facial masks made from these fabrics can achieve adequate product delivery in 3-5 minutes or less.
High loft nonwoven fabrics
Nonwoven fabrics are provided that include a plurality of crimped bicomponent fibers having a first component comprising a first polymeric material comprising a first polymer or a first polymeric blend and a second component comprising a second polymeric material, in which the second polymeric material comprises a second polymeric blend of (i) at least one polypropylene polymer, (ii) at least one polyethylene polymer, and (iii) at least one compatibilizer comprising or consisting of at least one polypropylene-polyethylene copolymer.
ALTERNATIVE EXTERIOR TRIM PART
An exterior trim part for a vehicle comprises a fibrous porous structural layer. The fibrous porous structural layer consists of staple fibres, only. At least 50%, preferably between 70% and 100%, of the staple fibres comprise a first polymer made of modified polyester, such as CoPET, with a melting temperature between 150 C. and 240 C., preferably between 190 C. and 240 C.
FIBERS AND ARTICLES INCLUDING THEM
A multi-component fiber including at least first and second components. In some cases, at least a portion of the first component is opaque and microporous, and the second component is different from the first component. In some cases, at least a portion of the second component can be seen through at least a portion of the first component. A fiber having an opaque, microporous region and a see-through region of lower porosity is also disclosed. Fibrous webs including such fibers are also disclosed. In some cases, the fibrous web has at least one first region where first portions of the multiple fibers are opaque and microporous and at least one second region where second portions of the multiple fibers form a see-through region of lower porosity. Articles and laminates including the fibrous webs are disclosed. Methods of making the fibers, fibrous webs, and articles are also disclosed.
Artificial leather and method for manufacturing same
Provided is an artificial leather that achieves both a soft texture and excellent durability, and a method for manufacturing the same, the leather comprising: a fibrous base material formed from superfine fibers having an average single fiber diameter of 0.1-10 m; and a polymeric elastic body, where the polymer elastic body comprises a compound having a hydrophilic group and a compound having an ethylene oxide skeleton, the content of the compound in the polymeric elastic body of the artificial leather being 0.1-5 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the polymeric elastic body.
