Printing on a textile

In an example of a method for printing on a textile, a print is generated by thermal inkjet printing a thermal inkjet ink on a cotton fabric. The thermal inkjet ink consists of a pigment, a single dispersant and binder resin, a vehicle, and a balance of water. The single dispersant and binder resin is a styrene acrylic resin having an acid number greater than 100 mg KOH/g and a weight average molecular weight less than 50,000. The vehicle includes a co-solvent, an anti-kogation agent, a humectant, a surfactant, a biocide, or combinations thereof. The print is generated without a post-printing curing process.

TEXTILE PRINTING

A method of textile printing can include ejecting an ink composition onto a fabric substrate and ejecting a blocked polyisocyanate crosslinker onto the fabric substrate. The ink composition can include from 60 wt % to 90 wt % water, from 5 wt % to 30 wt % organic co-solvent, from 1 wt % to 6 wt % pigment, and from 2 wt % to 10 wt % dispersed polymer binder. The method can also include crosslinking the dispersed polymer binder with a deblocked polyisocyanate crosslinker on the fabric substrate.

Treatment agent for image recording, set including ink and treatment agent for image recording, and recording method

A treatment agent for image recording includes a cationic polymer emulsion and a cationic surfactant. A set usable for recording on a fabric includes a water-based ink for ink-jet recording including a colorant and water; and the treatment agent for image recording. A recording method for recording on a fabric by using the set includes: applying the treatment agent for image recording to the fabric; drying the treatment agent for image recording applied to the fabric; and jetting the water-based ink onto the fabric by an ink-jet system.
