RUBBER COMPONENT REINFORCING-STEEL CORD
Rubber article-reinforcing steel cord in which corrosion resistance is improved without an increase in weight. In a rubber article-reinforcing steel cord (1), plural sheath strands (3) each formed by twisting together plural steel filaments are twisted together around at least one core strand (2) formed by twisting together plural steel filaments. Core strand (2) and sheath strands (3) are each formed by twisting together one or two core filaments (2c) and (3c) and plural sheath filaments (2s) and (3s), respectively, and a relationship represented by the following Formula (1) is satisfied when a wire diameter of core filament(s) (2c) of core strand (2), a wire diameter of sheath filaments (2s), a wire diameter of core filaments (3c) of sheath strands (3), and a wire diameter of sheath filaments (3s) are defined as dcc, dcs, dsc and dss, respectively: dcc>dcsdsc>dss (1).
PRE-STRESSED CONCRETE STRUCTURE WITHGALVANIZED REINFORCEMENT
A pre-stressed concrete structure comprises a steel wire or a steel strand. The steel wire or steel strand has been pre-tensioned before curing of the concrete or grout. The steel wire or steel strand is provided with a zinc coating. The zinc coating has a weight ranging between 70 g/m.sup.2 and 950 g/m.sup.2. The steel wire or steel strand has an outer surface that is provided with indentions to provide mechanical anchorage points in the concrete structure. The steel wire or steel strand is further provided with a passivation layer in the form of a metal oxide layer.

A pre-stressed concrete structure comprises a steel wire or a steel strand. The steel wire or steel strand has been pre-tensioned before curing of the concrete or grout. Pneumatic vehicle tyre with a belt ply having steel monofilaments
The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tire having two or more belt plies which have reinforcement members crossing one another at an angle, wherein the reinforcement members within each belt ply are arranged substantially parallel to and spaced apart from one another and are embedded in rubber material, wherein the belt has at least one first belt ply, the reinforcement members of which are formed by steel monofilaments of the reinforcement member class Ultra-Tensile (UT) with in each case a tensile strength of 3080 N/mm.sup.2 to 4190 N/mm.sup.2, wherein the steel monofilaments have a diameter D of 0.33 mm to 0.37 mm. It is the object of the invention to provide, at lower cost, a pneumatic vehicle tyre with low rolling resistance, by way of simultaneously simplified production. This is achieved in that the steel monofilaments have a torsion value of approximately zero windings in the case of a length dimension of 200 times the diameter of the steel monofilament.
Pneumatic vehicle tyre with a belt ply having steel reinforcing elements
Pneumatic vehicle tire having two or more belt plies which have reinforcement members crossing one another at an angle, wherein the reinforcement members within each belt ply are arranged substantially parallel to and spaced apart from one another and are embedded in rubber material, wherein the belt has at least one first belt ply, the reinforcement members of which are formed by steel cords composed of two twisted-together steel monofilaments, wherein the steel falls within the reinforcement member class Ultra-Tensile (UT) with in each case a tensile strength of 3185 N/mm.sup.2 to 3920 N/mm.sup.2. It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a pneumatic vehicle tyre with low rolling resistance and simultaneously good handling properties. The object is achieved in that the first belt ply, at a predefined elongation of 1% in the direction of the reinforcement member longitudinal extent, has a stress of 26000 N per dm width to 43000 N per dm width.
CABLE BEAD AND AIRPLANE TIRE USING SAME
Provided are: a cable bead which can realize a weight reduction while maintaining the breaking pressure resistance; and an airplane tire including the same. A cable bead (10) includes: a core (1) composed of an annularly formed steel; and a sheath (3) composed of at least one sheath layer, which is formed by spirally winding a sheath filament (2) composed of a steel around the core (1). The sheath filament (2) has a carbon content of higher than 0.90% by mass but 0.95% by mass or less, and a chromium content of 0.15 to 0.30% by mass.
CABLE BEAD AND AIRPLANE TIRE USING SAME
Provided are: a cable bead which can realize a weight reduction while maintaining the breaking pressure resistance; and an airplane tire including the same. A cable bead (10) includes: a core (1) composed of an annularly formed steel; and a sheath (3) composed of at least one sheath layer, which is formed by spirally winding a sheath filament (2) composed of a steel around the core (1). The sheath filament (2) has a carbon content of higher than 0.90% by mass but 0.95% by mass or less, and a chromium content of 0.15 to 0.30% by mass.
PNEUMATIC VEHICLE TYRE WITH A BELT PLY HAVING STEEL MONOFILAMENTS
A pneumatic vehicle tire having two or more belt plies which have reinforcement members crossing at an angle. The reinforcement members within each belt ply are arranged substantially parallel to and spaced apart from one another and are embedded in rubber material. The belt has at least one first belt ply, the reinforcement members of which are formed by ultra-tensile steel monofilaments having a tensile strength of 3080 N/mm.sup.2 to 4190 N/mm.sup.2. The steel monofilaments have a diameter D of 0.33 mm to 0.37 mm. This provides, at lower cost, a pneumatic vehicle tyre with low rolling resistance, by way of simultaneously simplified production. This is achieved in that the steel monofilaments have a torsion value of approximately zero windings in the case of a length dimension of 200 times the diameter of the steel monofilament.
Steel wire rope for conveyor belt
Disclosed is a steel wire rope for conveyor belts. The steel wire rope includes a central steel wire, a steel wire layer externally wound on the central steel wire, and a plurality of external steel wire strands. Each external steel wire strand includes a core steel wire and N external steel wires. The central steel wire, the steel wire layer externally wound on the central steel wire, and the plurality of external steel wire strands are wound into a steel wire rope for conveyor belts in one step. The steel wire layer is externally wound on the outer side of the central steel wire, the external steel wire strands are wound to wrap the outer side of the steel wire layer, and the external steel wire strands are in line contact with the steel wire layer.

The steel wire rope includes a central steel wire, a steel wire layer externally wound on the central steel wire, and a plurality of external steel wire strands. Each external steel wire strand includes a core steel wire and N external steel wires. The central steel wire, the steel wire layer externally wound on the central steel wire, and the plurality of external steel wire strands are wound into a steel wire rope for conveyor belts in one step. The steel wire layer is externally wound on the outer side of the central steel wire, the external steel wire strands are wound to wrap the outer side of the steel wire layer, and the external steel wire strands are in line contact with the steel wire layer.
