Press Jacket And Method For The Production Thereof
A press jacket includes at least one polymer layer. The polymer layer includes, or has been produced from, a polyurethane. The polyurethane has been formed from a prepolymer and a cross linking agent. The prepolymer is a reaction product of phenylene 1,4-diisocyanate and a polyol. The cross linking agent includes the following components: a first component including 1,4-butanediol or 1,4-hydroquinone bis(2-hydroxyethyl) ether (HQEE), a second component including at least one aliphatic diamine, and a third component including at least one alkanolamine. A press roll, a shoe press and a process for the production of a press jacket are also provided.
Thermally sprayed protective coating for industrial and engineered fabrics
A fabric or belt and a method for forming such a fabric or belt, including a base support structure and at least one coating with the coating being applied by a thermal spray process.
Belt
This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a belt for a paper, board, pulp or tissue machine, the belt (5) comprising a body (14), and a reinforcing structure (31, 32), the belt (5) having an inner surface (10) and an outer surface (11), wherein the method comprises: applying a coating comprising a solid lubricant on to a casting cylinder (18), drying the coating comprising the solid lubricant, thereby obtaining solid lubricant particles (29) on the casting cylinder (18), casting a body material (21) onto the casting cylinder (18) in order to form the body (14) on the solid lubricant particles, and providing the reinforcement structure (31, 32) into the belt, thereby obtaining the belt in which the solid lubricant particles forms at least part of the inner surface of the belt. This invention relates to an arrangement for manufacturing a belt for a paper, board, pulp or tissue machine. The invention further relates to a belt for a paper, board, pulp, or tissue machine.
Sleeve roll belt
A sleeve roll belt (10) has an inner surface (11) and an outer surface (12). The belt has a body (15) and a reinforcing structure (30). The reinforcing structure (30) has first yarns (31) arranged to a first direction (D1) of the belt, and second yarns (32) arranged to a second direction (D2) of the belt. The reinforcing structure (30) also has auxiliary yarns (31b, 31c) arranged parallel or substantially parallel to the first direction (D1) of the belt, wherein the auxiliary yarns are arranged to a depth of greater than a depth of the first yarns, measured from the outer surface (12) of the body (15) to an outer surface (31-o, 31b-o) of each yarn (31, 31b, 31c) in the depth direction of the belt, and a diameter of the auxiliary yarns is at least 20% smaller than a diameter of the first yarns.
