Method and Device for Applying a Material to a Moving Web
In a method for applying a substance to a moving web (4) of a product, an air-vapor mixture is supplied to at least one nozzle (13) in which the substance is propelled by means of the air-vapor mixture as propellant in an application zone (32) on the web (4) is applied. Excess air-vapor mixture and excess material are removed from the application zone (32). In order to improve the energy efficiency of such a process, it is proposed that at least part of the excess air-steam mixture discharged from the application zone (32) be recycled and returned to at least one nozzle (13). In addition, a device (1) for carrying out the method described above is proposed.

Polymer coated paperboard container and method
A method of forming a coating on a cylindrical paperboard container having a closed end. The method includes the steps of heating a gas from a first temperature to a second temperature; providing the gas to a first inlet of a nozzle; providing a polymer in a liquid state at a third temperature; providing the polymer to a second inlet of the nozzle; and spraying the polymer onto the cylindrical paperboard container using the nozzle; wherein the second temperature is greater than the third temperature; and the second temperature and third temperature are such that the gas maintains the polymer in the liquid state at least until the polymer comes into contact with the cylindrical paperboard container. A system for applying a coating to a plurality of cylindrical paperboard containers and a container for a consumer product are also provided.

Hot-press gas grafting hydrophobization apparatus, and eco-friendly oil-absorbing low- weight paper manufactured using same
The present invention relates to a press-heating gas grafting hydrophobization apparatus, and a hot water-resistant paper and an oil-absorbing paper manufactured using the press-heating gas grafting hydrophobization apparatus. In the press-heating gas grafting hydrophobization apparatus according to the present invention, since a non-air-permeable dryer belt is provided surrounding and pressing a drying roller to prevent dissipation from a base material of a fatty acid chloride vaporized by the drying roller, the press-heating gas grafting hydrophobization apparatus has an advantage of improving efficiency of a gas grafting reaction. Therefore, by using the press-heating gas grafting hydrophobization apparatus according to the present invention, the reaction amount of fatty acid chloride per unit area can be remarkably improved.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING PAPER IMPREGNATED BY A SUPERCRITICAL-PRESSURE FLUID, AND IMPREGNATED, PARTICULARLY COLOURED PAPER
In the field of papermaking and more particularly a method for producing paper impregnated with a molecule of interest, particularly colored paper, and the associated product, i.e. impregnated paper, there is a disclosed a method implementing a supercritical-pressure fluid. Such paper, particularly colored paper, obtained from a formulation of paper pulp or paper including latex, does not bleed when it comes into contact with water.
