METHOD OF INSTALLING INTERFACE PAD ON CONCRETE TIES
An interface pad for a concrete tie includes a resilient contact pad to cushion the tie from any overlying parts in a railway application, such as panels in a grade crossing or rails in a turnout. The pad may be flat or a cupped shape and may be of varying size to accommodate varying tie widths. The invention further comprises means and methods to correctly secure such an interface pad to a concrete railroad tie and minimize the possibility that the interface pad will be forcibly removed from the tie during installation of the tie.

Superstructure device
A superstructure device (10) for a set of points having a switch support which is composed of a block of high-strength steel and which has stock and short point rails which delimit said switch support and are formed integrally from the block, wherein the block is connected to a lower part composed of a material other than the high-strength steel, such as mild steel, and is in particular connected in a materially joined fashion, wherein the block extends essentially over the entire length of a switch rail device as the superstructure device on both sides beyond the switch support, and the lower part is a means of supporting the block in the form of at least two supports which are spaced apart from one another.

LUBRICATION-FREE PIECE FOR A RAILWAY DEVICE
The disclosure relates to a lubrication-free piece having a friction surface that rubs against a second surface, the lubrication-free piece having at least one structure made from spheroidal graphite cast iron or steel, the external surface of the piece including at least one layer of lubricating thermoplastic polymers, wherein the lubrication-free piece includes a nickel/aluminium-based intermediary layer between the spheroidal graphite cast iron or steel structure and the layer of lubricating thermoplastic polymers.
Switch point roller assembly
The disclosed solution generally relates to a switch point roller assembly. The switch point roller assembly is configured to be operatively connected to a switch point within a railway switch. The switch point roller assembly comprises a spring, a bolt assembly, a roller assembly, a housing assembly, and a base plate. The base plate may be secured such that the roller assembly is in substantial contact with a railway plate during movement of the switch pointsuch that the operation of the switch point is improved. As such, the switch point is more resilient to wear thus leading to decreased maintenance costs and increased safety for personnel, passengers, and property.
