Device for securing a railway apparatus
A device for securing a railway apparatus, comprising a support platform and a mechanism for securing the apparatus on the platform, the securing mechanism comprising:at least one guiding slide extending in a longitudinal direction, supported by the support platform; anda member for attaching the apparatus to the platform capable of moving along the guiding slide. The securing mechanism also comprises an upper beam supporting the guiding slide and a lower beam, connected by means of a connecting member so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guiding slide. Moreover, the securing mechanism comprises locking mechanism configured to prevent the movement of the upper beam with respect to the lower beam in said perpendicular direction.

Railroad maintenance systems and methods
Systems and methods for using a mobile crane assembly are provided. The mobile crane assembly includes a mobile crane having a first truss assembly and a second truss assembly spaced apart and movable relative to one another. The first truss assembly and the second truss assembly are each coupled to a rail car end assembly. The mobile crane further comprises an upper gantry assembly movable along the first truss assembly and the second truss assembly. A flat cart is coupled to the rail car end assembly, and a material handling cart is received upon the flat cart and is configured to move between the flat cart and the rail car end assembly based upon input from a controller in electrical communication with the upper gantry assembly.

APPARATUS FOR LIFTING AND MOVING A RAIL
A rail lifting head (10) comprises a head gate member (20) defining a gate aperture (22), a rail support member (24) removably secured to the gate member (20) and adapted to support a rail vertically within the gate aperture (22), and a head cartridge (100) which is removably secured to the head gate member (20). The head cartridge (100) includes two opposed vertical rollers (128) which support a rail laterally within the gate aperture and a fixing (112) which secures the head cartridge (100) to the head gate member (20). The rail support member (24) is removable from the head gate member (20).

Automatic pre-fabrication of plated railroad ties and sections of railroad track
Novel systems and methods are disclosed for fully automated creation of plated ties and/or pre-fabricated sections of railroad track away from and for shipment to an installation site.
TRACK MAINTENANCE WAGON FOR PICKING UP AND/OR LAYING TRACK PANELS
A track maintenance wagon (1) for picking up and/or laying a track panel (10), comprising a wagon frame (2) supported on on-track undercarriages (4), wherein two longitudinal beams (7) of the wagon frame (2) delimit a free opening and are transversely displaceable relative to one another, so that the free opening is changeable as to its width and, in a working position, has greater opening dimensions as a horizontal projection of the track panel (19), and wherein crane rails (8) are arranged on the longitudinal beams (7) for a gantry crane (11) mobile in the longitudinal direction (3) of the wagon. In this, buffers (13) are arranged at two free ends (12) of the longitudinal beams (7).

CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR GRADE SEPARATION STRUCTURES
This invention relates to a cut and cover method of constructing grade separation structures. The methods include partially burying precast substructure elements with associated trench boxes under live traffic. Once the precast substructure elements are buried the substructure is completed and the bridge span is installed. Other methods include installing precast superstructure elements with formwork system and forming a bridge substructure and excavating underneath the superstructure once the substructure is formed.
