SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CUSTOMIZING A PLAYING FIELD
20200224372 · 2020-07-16 ·

A customizable playing field includes a turf system comprising a tile with a turf layer. The tile overlays a subfloor, defining a reservoir thereunder. A forced air system includes a pipe disposed within the reservoir and operatively coupled to a pump; and a sensor. A control system controls the pump, and includes a processor in data communication with at least one input/output device and computer memory. The computer memory has a program with machine readable instructions that, when effected by the processor, perform the following steps: if the temperature is above a predetermined threshold as measured by the sensor, forcing a cool fluid through the pipe; and if the temperature is below a predetermined threshold as measured by the sensor, forcing a warm fluid through the pipe.

Modular flooring tiles and system

Modular floor tiles include a first surface configured to receive weight. The first surface is supported by primary walls interior to and extending the full height of the tiles, and which may be intersecting to form a grid. Secondary walls of a lesser height support the primary walls, may be non-linear such as circular, and may support either side of vertices of intersecting primary walls. Joining members and corresponding receivers in the sides of tiles are dimensioned to engage one another from adjacent tiles to join the tiles and restrict lateral movement. Fastener(s) in each tile are associated with slots and may be selectively moved between unlocked and locked positions to restrict vertical movement. Some embodiments include cable channels with corresponding cover plates, and inclined portions providing ramps. Any number and combination of tiles may be connected to one another to form a modular flooring system.

The present invention provides a photovoltaic module for paving surfaces that supports pedestrians and vehicles, comprising one or more photovoltaic cells interconnected in serial or in parallel and placed in the same plane including: an upper protective layer that is non-opaque and is seamlessly adhered to both the photovoltaic cells and another protective mounting layer that is and is seamlessly adhered from the bottom and sides. A further binding layer underneath the second protective layer, an anti-skid layer seamlessly adhered at the very top to the entire structure with irregular textures of various granularities, and a baseplate seamlessly adhered from the very bottom to the entire structure allow a glutinous material to be applied when paving a road surface with the disclosed modules.

Linkage brick assembly and assembly method thereof

A linkage brick assembly, comprising: a least one first linkage brick, at least one second linkage brick and at least one third linkage brick, each linkage brick comprising a top face, a bottom face and four side faces between the top face and the bottom face. Each of the side faces of the first linkage brick forms a traverse engaging groove extending laterally. Each of two opposite side faces of the four side faces of the second linkage brick forms a traverse engaging protrusion extending laterally and each of the other two opposite side faces forms a vertical engaging portion extending vertically. Each of the side faces of the third linkage brick forms a vertical engaging groove extending vertically. Each of the traverse engaging grooves of the first linkage brick is used to engage with each of the traverse engaging protrusions of the second linkage brick through lateral sliding. Each of the vertical engaging grooves of the third linkage brick is used to engage with each of the vertical engaging protrusions of the second linkage brick through downward sliding. Due to the above structures, fast assembly of the linkage brick assembly of a large area can be achieved by means of the interlocking of only three types of linkage bricks.

Industrial support mat interlock device

INTERLOCKING OF MATS HAVING STAGGERED ELONGATED COMPONENTS
20200157747 · 2020-05-21 ·

An interlockable industrial mat having a plurality of elongated members some of which are arranged in staggered orientation to form protrusions and corresponding recesses on opposite ends of the mat. The elongated members are held together by a plurality of joining; members. To facilitate interlocking of one mat with another similarly configured mat, each protrusion includes a first hole that is in alignment with a first bore for receiving a connecting rod, and each end of the non-staggered members is provided with a second hole that is in alignment with a second bore for receiving another same size rod. The first and second bores are in alignment such that when the protrusions of one mat are received in the recesses of another mat, a connecting rod can be passed through each bore to interlock the mats together. Multiple mats can be interlocked that way to form temporary support structures.
