SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CUSTOMIZING A PLAYING FIELD
A customizable playing field includes a turf system comprising a tile with a turf layer. The tile overlays a subfloor, defining a reservoir thereunder. A forced air system includes a pipe disposed within the reservoir and operatively coupled to a pump; and a sensor. A control system controls the pump, and includes a processor in data communication with at least one input/output device and computer memory. The computer memory has a program with machine readable instructions that, when effected by the processor, perform the following steps: if the temperature is above a predetermined threshold as measured by the sensor, forcing a cool fluid through the pipe; and if the temperature is below a predetermined threshold as measured by the sensor, forcing a warm fluid through the pipe.

Industrial support mat interlock device
An interlocking joint device and method of using same, configured to adapt to and integrate with most existing industrial access matting products to create within those matting products an overlapping lip configuration that: (1) interlocks the pre-existing individual mats together; (2) protects the perimeter of the mat from excessive wear and damage to improve performance and versatility; and (3) provides a serviceable and/or replaceable part that creates an inexpensive alternative to replacing entire matting products.

TRANSITION CONSTRUCTION FOR BRIDGING A BUILDING JOINT
A transition construction for bridging a building joint between two component parts of a building with at least one cover element that at least partially covers the building joint. The cover element is attached to a component part of the building via an anchoring structure, wherein the anchoring structure is configured such that the at least one cover element is selectively supported.
Underlayment panel having drainage channels
An impact-absorbing assembly includes a covering layer being one or more of artificial turf, rubber mats, polymer mats, short pile carpeting, particulate infill, wood chips, and ground rubber chips. Also included is a layer of underlayment panels positioned beneath the covering layer. The panels have a panel section with a plurality of drain holes formed therethrough. A top surface of the panels is configured to support the covering layer. A bottom surface of the panels has a plurality of bottom projections that cooperate to define bottom channels suitable to permit water flow across the bottom surface, the bottom channels being in fluid communication with the panel drain holes. The bottom projections define a first spring rate characteristic that is part of a first stage and a second spring rate characteristic is part of a second stage, the first stage having a smaller volume of material than the second stage.

VOID REDUCING ASPHALT MEMBRANE COMPOSITION, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ASPHALT PAVING APPLICATIONS
A method of forming a pavement construction joint that involves dispensing a band of a void reducing joint composition on a substrate using at least one spray application vehicle, wherein the band comprises a width of about 4 to about 24 inches. A paving pass is applied over the band of joint composition, wherein the paving pass is positioned against an edge of a previously laid portion of pavement to form a pavement construction joint having a volume of air voids. At least a portion of the joint composition migrates upward to reduce the volume of air voids. The composition is resistant to flow when applied and migrates into hot mix asphalt in the area of the longitudinal joint to reduce air voids to 7% or less and reduce water permeability. The composition becomes tack-free quickly after application. The composition bonds to asphalt, concrete, brick, stone and metal.

Systems, apparatus and methods for manipulating a ground cover attachment pin
A power tool for unlocking a releasable attachment pin from at least two ground covers includes at least one gripper carried by a carrier and selectively moveable relative to the carrier to grip a first portion of the attachment pin. At least one rotator also carried by the carrier is selectively rotatable relative to the first portion of the attachment pin to rotate a second portion of the attachment pin to unlock the attachment pin from the ground covers. A power-driven actuator associated with the carrier is operatively coupled to the rotator(s) and configured to selectively rotate the rotator(s).
