Locking mechanism for locking a floating platform loaded with a machine onto a base, shock absorbing device with locking mechanism, and method thereof
A shock absorbing device includes a floating platform, a base, and at least three locking mechanisms. The floating platform is movably spaced above the base and loaded with a machine. A center of gravity of the floating platform and the machine is located within a field enclosed by the at least three locking mechanisms. Each of the at least three locking mechanisms includes a first fixing component, a second fixing component, and a third fixing component. The first fixing component is disposed on the floating platform. The second fixing component is disposed on the base and located at a position corresponding to the first fixing component. The third fixing component is disposed on the second fixing component to engage with the first fixing component, so that the floating platform can be locked onto the base, which prevents damage of internal components of the machine caused by shock loads during transportation.

A construction machine, in particular a road paver or tandem roller, for working a ground in a working direction, having a machine frame, an operator platform with at least one operator platform door and at least one travel unit, and an operating unit, the operating unit comprising an operator's seat for an operator of the construction machine, an operating console with operating elements for controlling the construction machine by the operator, a support structure on which both the operator's seat and the operating console are arranged, and a transverse guide with at least one guide rail, wherein the support structure is movably mounted on the at least one guide rail, so that the support structure together with the operator's seat and the operating console are configured to be movable along the at least one guide rail, wherein the support structure is configured such that it can be swiveled together with the operator's seat and the operating console about a swivel axis running in particular in vertical direction, the swivel axis being arranged in the working direction in front of the operator's seat.
Trench filling machine
A machine for filling a trench. The machine comprises a tub, release assembly, and a hopper. The tub mixes a material to be filled into the trench. The release assembly releases the material into the hopper and the material flows from the hopper and into the trench. The machine moves parallel to the trench as the trench is being filled. A compactor assembly may follow behind the hopper and pack material into the trench. An operator controls the movement of the machine from an operator station on the machine.

Handrail linkage mechanism for a machine
A linkage mechanism associated with a handrail assembly of a machine is provided. The handrail assembly is coupled to an operator platform. The handrail assembly includes a first handrail member coupled to the frame. The linkage mechanism connects the first handrail member to the frame such that the first handrail member can be pivotally moved between an extended position and a retracted position. The linkage mechanism includes a first bracket and a pair of linkage members. The first bracket is coupled to the frame. The pair of linkage members pivotally connect the first bracket with the first handrail member. The first bracket, the pair of linkage members and the first handrail member together form a four-bar linkage. Further, a spring biased latching mechanism is configured to retain the handrail assembly in a retracted or an extended position.
