Modular spray assembly for a working machine
A modular spray assembly for a working machine includes a base assembly that is attached to the frame of the working machine. The base assembly includes a working fluid conduit having an open end and a closed end, and a plurality of nozzle assemblies that are attached to and are in fluid communication with the working fluid conduit. A modular component includes a nozzle assembly, a first end, and a second end. The second end of the modular component is adapted to be removably attached to the open end of the working fluid conduit so as to be in fluid communication with the working fluid conduit. The modular spray assembly also includes an open end component that is adapted to be removably and alternatively attached to the open end of the working fluid conduit or to the first end of the modular component. The open end component includes a working fluid supply pipe that is in fluid communication with the working fluid storage tank of the working machine.
AUTOMATIC LIQUID SPRAY SYSTEM FOR DUST MITIGATION
A method for operating an automatic liquid spray system for dust mitigation on a work machine can include receiving, with a controller, a signal from a sensor attached to a frame of the work machine. The signal can be indicative of dust around the work machine. The controller can include a location of the sensor on the frame. The method can also include sending a signal to a dust mitigation system. The signal can be indicative of the location of the sensor such that the dust mitigation system can control a liquid control module to provide liquid to a dust mitigation valve around the location of the sensor on the frame. The method can also include opening, with the dust mitigation system, the dust mitigation valve around the location of the frame around the sensor to provide liquid around the location of the sensor.
PROCESS FOR COLD-IN-PLACE RECYCLING USING FOAMED ASPHALT AND LUBRICATION ADDITIVE
Cold-in-place asphalt recycling is disclosed. A foamed asphalt may be produced by injecting water and optionally compressed air into a hot asphalt stream. A lubricating surfactant may be added to the hot asphalt stream to improve performance. The foamed asphalt may be mixed with reclaimed material to provide a uniformly coated paving material that can compacted to a desired density.
Attachment for clearance of worksites
A cutting device adapted to be pulled by a trailer. The cutting device comprises a frame which supports an engine and a cutting drum assembly powered by the engine. The cutting drum assembly comprises a self-aligning mount that allows movement of its drum relative to the frame. The engine is positioned such that its weight is provided to the cutting drum assembly to maintain a consistent depth of the cutting drum. A linear actuator, such as a hydraulic cylinder, allows the frame to pivot internally, so that the cutting drum assembly may be raised and lowered relative to the ground while translating the frame on wheels.
CARRIAGE SUSPENDED CONCRETE DRILL GANG ASSEMBLY
A drilling machine for boring holes in a slab having a hole formed therein includes a main frame to which a drill gang assembly is rotatably and telescopingly mounted. The drill gang assembly includes a drill support frame supporting a plurality of drills in parallel spaced alignment. The drill gang assembly is mounted on a mast which may be rotated three hundred and sixty degrees relative to the main frame about a vertical axis up to at least one hundred and eighty degrees. The mast slides laterally relative to the main frame and the wheels supporting the main frame telescope laterally so the wheels can be supported on an adjacent lane or shoulder when the drill gang assembly is supported over a hole extending the width of a lane of a road forming by the slab.
VOLUMETRIC CONCRETE MIXING SYSTEM, EQUIPMENT, AND METHOD
A mobile volumetric concrete mixing system includes a suction system that vacuums up trench spoils while a trench is being cut. These trench spoils are then screened on-site for particle size to be reused and mixed with water, cement, and/or other admixtures at an auger mixer to form a backfill mixture. This backfill mixture may then be loaded into a hopper that continuously agitates the mixture so that the mixture does not harden before pouring. The agitating hopper is coupled to a discharge chute of the auger mixer and includes one or more augers disposed at various orientations that the backfill mixture is channeled through. From the agitating hopper, the backfill mixture is channeled to an applicator that moves along the trench and that enables the mixture to be quickly poured into the trench with little clean-up required.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR COLD PLANER AND APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF
A control system, apparatus, and method for controlling operations of a milling machine are described. Data corresponding to a ventilation mode and a conveyor delay amount set by an operator of the milling machine is stored in memory. Control of transition of operation of the milling machine from a milling mode to a standby mode is according to a first predetermined sequence of operations responsive to a first input at a control panel of the milling machine. Further, control of transition of operation of the milling machine from the standby mode to the milling mode is according to a second predetermined sequence of operations, which is in reverse order relative to the first predetermined sequence of operations, in response to the first input at the control panel.
Road construction machine with air barrier device and method
The disclosure refers to a road construction machine, adapted in particular in the form of a road paver or a feeder vehicle for a road paver. According to the disclosure, the road construction machine comprises a first and/or a second air barrier device adapted to shield a driver and/or an operator of the road construction machine. Furthermore, the disclosure refers to a corresponding method for generating an air flow during operation of a road construction machine in order to shield a driver and/or an operator from vapors and/or aerosols rising during operation of the road construction machine.
ROAD PAVER WITH SPRAYING DEVICE
The disclosure relates to a road paver that comprises a tractor with a material hopper and a machine frame. The machine frame is pivotably connected to the paving screed by pulling arms and a material spreading auger is disposed in a gap between the tractor and the paving screed. A longitudinal conveyor device extends through a tunnel between the material hopper and the gap. The road paver according to the disclosure is characterized by a spraying device that is configured for injecting a liquid into the gap between the tractor and the paving screed or into the tunnel or into the material hopper.
Cold planer exhaust system with access doors
Cold planer exhaust systems and methods of clearing the same are disclosed. The exhaust systems and methods may include an inlet manifold located proximate a milling drum housing and above a material conveyor. The inlet manifold may further include at least one inlet passage and at least one access door configured to open and allow access to an interior of the exhaust system. The systems and methods may further include a ventilator configured to draw dust and fumes into and through the exhaust system.
