Rubber composition, aging-resistant rubber product using the same

The present invention discloses a rubber composition, a processing method thereof, and an aging resistant rubber product using the rubber composition. The rubber composition comprises a rubber matrix and essential components, wherein, based on 100 parts by weight of the rubber matrix, the rubber matrix comprises a branched polyethylene with a content represented as A, in which 0<A≤100 parts, and an EPM and an EPDM with a content represented as B, in which 0≤B<100 parts; and the essential components comprise 1.5-10 parts of a crosslinking agent, 30-200 parts of a reinforcing filler, and 5-250 parts of a plasticizer. The rubber composition provided by present invention has good processability and can be used for producing rubber products with high aging resistance and compression set resistance.

Work gondola apparatus and work vehicle provided with same

A work gondola apparatus is provided with: a work cage into which a worker boards; equipment mounting parts disposed on both outer sides of the work cage; battery-driven elevating/lowering mechanisms which are mounted to the respective equipment mounting parts and which elevate/lower the work cage to a working location by means of cables that are being suspended; and batteries for driving the respective elevating/lowering mechanisms.

Flexible expansion joint seal

An expansion joint seal includes a central portion having at least one central chamber disposed around a centerline, a first flange portion extending outwardly from the centerline and a second flange portion extending outwardly from the centerline in a direction opposite the first flange portion. When installed on the structure, the first flange portion is attachable to a first substrate of the structure and the second flange portion is attachable to a second substrate of the structure such that the central portion is disposed within and seals a gap formed between the first substrate and the second substrate of the structure. Movement of one or both of the first substrate and the second substrate causes a response in the central portion to maintain the seal.

EXPANSION JOINT SEALS AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An expansion joint seal includes a seal body and a plurality of seal caps, wherein the seal body is made of a material having a first hardness, and the seal caps are made of a material having a second hardness that is greater than the first hardness. The seal body includes a plurality of walls that form hollow cells. The seal body includes a plurality of traffic bearing surfaces that are separated from one another by grooves and are thereby discontinuous relative to one another. The hollow cells and the grooves allow the seal body to expand and contract as an expansion joint increases and decreases in size due to thermal and/or load variations. The seal caps cover the traffic bearing surfaces of the seal body, such that each of the traffic bearing surfaces of the seal body is covered by a separate one of the seal caps.

Pavement joints and methods for treating the same

Techniques for protecting joints in pavement structures include applying a hardener/densifier to one or more surfaces that define a joint in a pavement structure and, optionally, to portions of one or more surfaces that are located adjacent to the joint. One or more other compounds, such as hydrophobic materials, water resistant materials, anti-scaling compounds, anti-wear compounds, multi-functional blended compositions and the like, may also be applied to the surfaces that define a joint and/or to portions of one or more surfaces that are adjacent to the joint. A seal may also be formed in a joint in a pavement structure.

A transition construction for bridging a building joint between two component parts of a building with at least one cover element that at least partially covers the building joint. The cover element is attached to a component part of the building via an anchoring structure, wherein the anchoring structure is configured such that the at least one cover element is selectively supported.

Movement joint

A free movement, arris protection, construction joint has a pair of arris protection members formed complementarily from strips of sheet with a continuous trapezium wave form. A divider one of the members is typically 100 mm deep for a nominal 0.1 m deep slab. The other one is typically 50 mm deep. The members are of steel plate. The wave form is comprised of flanges extending in the length of the joint and of webs angled to the flanges and the length of the joint. The flanges are spaced on opposite sides of a mid-plane of the joint. The members are bolted together with flangible nylon bolts, with their top (in use) edges flush. Welded to the outer ones of the flanges are L strips having apertures in their flats extending from the flanges for anchoring the joint to its slabs.
