There is provided a multi-sided culvert having a base section, a first side body, and a second side body. The first and second side bodies are engaged at the top of the culvert by a top engagement and supported by the base section. The base section engages the first side body by a first bottom engagement and the second side body by a second bottom engagement. The first part of the first bottom engagement has a first guide section and a first interlocking section, and the second part of the first bottom engagement has a second guide section and a second interlocking section. During installation the first and second guide sections guide the first and second interlocking sections into engagement, the first and second interlocking sections having tapered surfaces that, when engaged, permit upward and outward movement of the second part relative to the base.

A pre-stressed concrete box culvert includes a three-sided culvert top section having a pre-stressed top slab, a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The first and the second sidewalls extend orthogonally from opposite ends of the pre-stressed top slab, and the first and the second sidewalls each include a free end that has at least one male or female connector. The pre-stressed concrete box culvert includes a three-sided culvert bottom section having a pre-stressed bottom slab and a third sidewall and a fourth sidewall. The third and the fourth sidewalls extend orthogonally from opposite ends of the pre-stressed bottom slab, and the third and the fourth sidewalls each include a free end that has at least one male or female connector to mate with the at least one corresponding male or female connector arranged at one of the respective free ends of the first and the second sidewalls.

VEHICLE-TO-ROAD TECHNOLOGY FOR ALIGNMENT, STOPPING, SLOWING, AND SLIPPING BY ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCES
20240158998 · 2024-05-16 ·

Structures, systems, and methods for vehicle-to-road technology for one or more of alignment, stopping, slowing, and slipping by electromagnetic forces are disclosed, including a road system, comprising a road having a longitudinal axis and containing ferrous material positioned in a pattern aligned with the longitudinal axis, the pattern configured to, when the ferrous material is magnetized, generate a magnetic force such that a vehicle on the road is guided by the magnetic force. In some implementations, the pattern may be configured to, when the ferrous material is magnetized, generate the magnetic force such that the vehicle on the road is guided by the magnetic force in a predetermined direction. The ferrous material may be configured to change between a magnetized state and an unmagnetized state based on application of an electrical current to the ferrous material.

Reinforcement system and method for corrugated plate structures

A corrugated plate structure includes a plurality of corrugated plates connected together to form a corrugated structure having a corrugation direction and a cross-corrugation direction. A reinforcement system includes: a first bracket and a second bracket, where the first bracket extends substantially parallel to the cross-corrugation direction and mounted to side-by-side first and second corrugation crests so as to pass over a corrugation valley that joins the first and second corrugation crest, and where the second bracket is spaced in the corrugation direction from the first bracket, and the second bracket extends substantially parallel to the cross-corrugation direction and mounted to the first and second corrugation crests so as to pass over the corrugation valley. An elongated reinforcing member extends substantially parallel to the corrugation direction and mounted to both the first bracket and the second bracket.

MODULE AND METHOD FOR MANAGING WATER AND OTHER FLUIDS

A culvert marker has a pole connected to the wire rope; a wire rope; and a base. A marker has a structural base; a wire rope extending out of the structural base; and a mast supported by the wire rope. A marker has a structural base; and a wire rope extending out of the structural base, with a central axis defined by the wire rope projecting through an area defined between plural ground-or-support-surface contacting points that are defined by the structural base and are spaced angularly about the central axis. Related methods and combinations are also discussed.

Air vent for culvert
12084849 · 2024-09-10 ·

The air vent for culvert is a vent. The air vent for culvert is configured for use with a culvert. The air vent for culvert forms a fluidic connection between the interior space of the culvert and the atmosphere. The air vent for culvert equalizes the gas pressure between the atmosphere and interior of the culvert such that a fluid flows freely through the culvert. The air vent for culvert incorporates a base structure, an equalizing pipe, and a threaded connection. The threaded connection secures the equalizing pipe to the base structure. The base structure secures the equalizing pipe and the culvert. The base structure forms a fluidic connection between the interior of the culvert and the equalizing pipe.
