ELECTRO MECHANICAL OPERATED BOLLARD
According to an aspect of some embodiments of the present invention there is provided a piston mounted on and fixedly fastened to a ball screw nut, the nut threaded onto a ball screw. By mechanically rotating the piston and preventing the ball screw from rotating, the balls screw nut rotates, thereby raising or lowering the ball screw, thereby raising or lowering the piston, thereby raising or lowering a casing, for example a bollard, mounted on the piston. The casing may be raised or lowered by attaching a handle to the piston and rotating the handle.
Movable barrier for walkway
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to an attraction system that includes a walkway, a carrier disposed at a first side of the walkway, and a barrier disposed at a second side of the walkway opposite the first side. The carrier is configured to translate relative to the walkway, and the barrier is removably coupled to the carrier. Translation of the carrier relative to the walkway transitions the barrier between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration.
Cable housing system
A cable housing system includes a housing positioned below a travel path having a crown surface. A plurality of surface lid sections are connected to the housing. The surface lid sections generally lie flush with the surface crown of the travel path when in a closed position and define gaps between the surface lid sections when in an open position. A surface lid interlocking mechanism connects at least two adjacent surface lid sections, and an attachment mechanism provides for the surface lid sections to be selectively moved relative to the housing.

Deployable expedient traffic entry regulator
In one embodiment, a deployable barrier container apparatus includes: in folded position, a container and, in unfolded position, a vertical barrier component is deployable on a base placed on the ground to oppose vehicle traffic approaching from an upstream side. A second side wall and a ceiling top are disposed on the downstream side of the base. A first side wall and a stowed top are disposed on the upstream side of the base and on which approaching vehicles move. The horizontal barrier component is disposed upstream of the stowed top and on which the approaching vehicles move, and the horizontal barrier component comprises an elongated sliding friction mat which creates a sliding friction interface with the ground upon contact of a moving vehicle with the deployed vertical barrier component in the deployed position. The base, side walls, and tops are rotatably connected to unfold to form the barrier apparatus.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACKING AND RECORDING LOCATIONS OF ROAD BARRIERS
A barrier transfer machine includes a moveable chassis, an entry snout, an exit snout, a conveyor system, and a tracking system that tracks and records the locations of road barriers as they are placed on a road surface so that the last locations of the barriers can be established for evidentiary purposes and/or for alerting operators or others of mis-positioned road barriers.

Traffic Channelizer with Flexible Divider Members
A modular system for separating traffic into discrete zones includes a plurality of rail segments pivotally secured to rail mounts. The mounts are configured for rapid and straightforward coupling of rail segments thereto. Moreover, the mounts may be quickly installed and de-installed from a road surface. The overall system therefore provides a physical barrier system that is easily installed and easily modifiable into desired arrangements. Its modular construction of any number of a plurality of distinct rail segments further facilitates customized channelizing design. The modular system includes flexible divider members connectable to the mounts through angled bracket flanges to define visible and aesthetically pleasing physical separation of the traffic into discrete zones.
COUNTERWEIGHT DEPLOYABLE VEHICLE BARRIER
A deployable vehicle barrier includes an upper structure forming a vertical passage, opposed legs extending vertically downward from the upper structure, each of the legs having a channel, a bollard disposed in the passage, parallel plates having a vertical section inside of the bollard and a horizontal section positioned outside of a bottom end of the bollard with the horizontal sections located in the channels, a first belt connector attached to and extending normal to the horizontal section, a second belt connector attached to and extending normal to the horizontal section in an opposite direction from the first belt connector, a first belt attached to the first belt connector, the upper structure via a first pulley, and a first counterweight, and a second belt attached to the second belt connector, the upper structure via a second pulley, and a second counterweight.
Barrier stand
A barrier stand for a barrier comprising a cable is described. The barrier stand has an elongate member and a hollow top section, and at least one slot extending downwardly from the top of the top section, the slot being adapted to receive a cable. A clamping device is located in the hollow section. The clamping device defines a shaft that extends through a bore defined by a guide of the barrier stand. The shaft and guide enable sliding movement of the clamping device towards a clamping position for clamping a cable securely to the barrier stand, and away from the clamping position to release the cable from the barrier stand. The guide is secured to the elongate member thereby maintaining alignment between the clamping device and the elongate member during movement of the clamping device towards and away from the clamping position.
