SHALLOW MOUNT SAFETY BOLLARDS
A shallow mount safety bollard assembly includes a bottom plate having a front edge, an aft edge, and a longitudinal axis extending in a front-to-aft direction and a lateral axis orthogonal to the longitudinal axis, a pair of side bars, having front ends and aft ends, attached to a top plate surface of the bottom plate, and extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis, and a bollard connected to the bottom plate between the pair of side bars. The bollard may be permanently or removably connected to the base of the assembly.
Anti-ram crash gate
An exemplary crash gate to guard against motor vehicles crossing a roadway in a direction from an attack side to a protected side including a buttress post assembly secured below ground in a first concrete foundation on a side of the roadway, the buttress post assembly having two buttress posts forming a barrier passage, a latch post assembly secured below the ground in a second concrete foundation on an opposite side of the roadway, the latch post assembly having two latch posts forming a latch gap, a barrier with a gate beam disposed in the barrier passage and extending from a buttress end to a latch end, and one of a vertical pin or a hook connected to the latch post assembly and positioned in the latch gap and the other one of the vertical pin or the hook located on the latch end, when the barrier is in a closed position the latch end is located in the latch gap and the vertical pin is positioned outside of the hook.

Barrier system and barrier system installation method
Disclosed herein is a bollard system including an impact receiving post and a foundation cage. The impact receiving post includes an outer surface, a proximal end, and a distal end. The foundation cage defines a three-dimensional lattice structure. The foundation cage is coupled to the proximal end of the impact receiving post and is configured for installation in concrete beneath a ground surface. The foundation cage defines a recess to receive a proximal portion of the impact receiving post. The foundation cage includes a horizontal stop member at least partially extending across the recess and supporting the impact receiving post and preventing the impact receiving post from extending further into the foundation cage before the concrete sets.
Intelligent speed regulator
Methods, systems, and apparatus for controlling a speed regulator are described. A monitor detects a speed of a vehicle. A speed regulator controller retracts the speed regulator from an extended configuration to a retracted configuration based on the detected speed in response to the vehicle traveling at a speed less than a defined speed, the speed regulator being configurable to extend and retract.

Anti-ram gate
A gate assembly having a cable extending across a panel, the panel movable between a closed position blocking an entry port and an open position; a latch post secured in the ground on a first side of the entry port, wherein a first end of the cable is connected to the latch post when the panel is in the closed position; and a post device secured in the ground on a second side of the entry port, the panel positioned through a passage of the post device.

Active wedge barrier
A wedge barrier system includes a frame to be disposed within a foundation, for example a shallow foundation, a wedge barrier comprising fingers having an asset end pivotally connected to the frame at an asset side and a blocking member extending perpendicular to the fingers and connected at threat ends of each of the fingers and a drive mechanism located below the top side of the frame and connected to one of the fingers to move the wedge barrier between a non-deployed position with the wedge barrier disposed inside the frame and a deployed position with the blocking member located above the top side.
Deployable expedient traffic entry regulator
In one embodiment, a deployable barrier container apparatus includes: in folded position, a container and, in unfolded position, a vertical barrier component is deployable on a base placed on the ground to oppose vehicle traffic approaching from an upstream side. A second side wall and a ceiling top are disposed on the downstream side of the base. A first side wall and a stowed top are disposed on the upstream side of the base and on which approaching vehicles move. The horizontal barrier component is disposed upstream of the stowed top and on which the approaching vehicles move, and the horizontal barrier component comprises an elongated sliding friction mat which creates a sliding friction interface with the ground upon contact of a moving vehicle with the deployed vertical barrier component in the deployed position. The base, side walls, and tops are rotatably connected to unfold to form the barrier apparatus.
