Pavement Marking Cleaning System
A system for using a fluid to clean markings on a hard surface includes a cleaning hood operably mounted on wheels for movement across the hard surface with the cleaning hood positioned immediately above the hard surface, a set of a plurality of cleaning arms of a selected length, the cleaning arms mounted for rotation under the cleaning hood and defining a cleaning area swept by the cleaning arms, a plurality of nozzles, each nozzle mounted on one of the plurality of cleaning arms, a cleaning fluid connection carried by the hood, the cleaning fluid connection configured to fluidly connect the nozzles and cleaning arms to a cleaning fluid supply, a vacuum connection carried by the hood, the vacuum connection configured to apply vacuum from a vacuum pump to remove contaminated cleaning fluid from the hard surface to a waste fluid storage tank, and a second set of a plurality of cleaning arms of a second selected length, wherein the plurality of cleaning arms of a selected length may be replaced by the second set of cleaning arms of a second selected length, altering the cleaning area swept by the cleaning arms.
A MACHINE FOR REMOVING PAINT AND OTHER UNWANTED MATERIAL FROM TURF, AND RELATED DEVICES AND METHODS
A machine for removing paint and other unwanted material from turf comprises a vacuum device operable to remove paint and other material from turf, a scrubbing device operable to strip paint from the turf, and a chassis that carries the vacuum device and scrubbing device across the turf. The vacuum device includes a vacuum head and a compression bar. The vacuum includes a chamber having an entrance and an exit, wherein when air is urged out of the chamber through the exit, ambient air adjacent to the vacuum head flows into the chamber through the entrance. The compression bar is located adjacent to and outside of the vacuum head's entrance and operable to exert pressure on the turf to cause fluid in the field to pool adjacent to the vacuum head's entrance.
SCRAPING DEVICE FOR CLEANING A ROADWAY SURFACE
The device includes two opposing lateral wings forming the right and left sides of the scraping device. Each wing includes an upper section through which the wing is attached to the central support about a vertical pivot axis, and a bottom section that is pivotable with respect to the upper section about a first horizontal pivot axis. Each wing can follow the unevenness of the roadway surface and may also include parts that can pivot backwards in case of a frontal impact with an obstacle. The scraping device offers a very high degree of versatility and can clean various kinds of roadway surfaces with an unprecedented level of efficiency.
TANK ARRANGEMENT FOR A WATERJET TRUCK
An example fluid storage system for a mobile waterjet system comprises a first tank having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. A second tank abuts the first side, and a third tank abuts the second side.
TRAVERSING FRONT ARM
An arm assembly for a waterjet truck according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes a traversing mount bracket at a first end of the arm. The traversing mount bracket is configured to permit the arm to translate in a linear direction. The arm further includes a joint configured to permit rotational movement.
MAGNETIC BAR FOR PICKUP HEAD OF SWEEPER TRUCK
Embodiments are directed to a street sweeper. The street sweeper may include a hopper, a pickup head, and a magnet bar. The pickup head may have an intake portion that is fluidly coupled to the hopper. The magnet bar may be disposed rearward of the intake portion of the pickup head.
Fluid suction device
A fluid suction device includes an elongate handle having a suction head at its distal end. The suction head extends in opposing directions substantially perpendicularly to the handle. The suction head includes an elongate longitudinal aperture in its outer wall in fluid communication with a suction pump. An absorbent panel covers the longitudinal aperture. When the suction head is applied to a spilled fluid, the wicking action of the absorbent panel and the negative air pressure from the suction pump allows rapid and efficient cleaning of an area affected by a fluid spill. The device also allows for safe and efficient removal of potentially dangerous objects such as broken glass. The device collects fluid in a waste reservoir so that it is easily disposed of.
Cantilevered debris plow and method of clearing debris
A method of clearing debris from under a parked trailer comprising: a) engaging, with a cantilevered debris mover, a surface having debris accumulated thereon and positioned under at least one parked trailer having at least a front portion which is cantilevered; and b) removing said debris accumulated upon said surface under said at least one parked trailer to a surface not located under said at least one trailer; wherein said cantilevered debris mover further comprises: i) a powered mobile prime mover capable of providing a source of power to an accessory; and ii) an accessory configured as a cantilevered debris plow further comprising: 1) a closed end allowing intake of debris; 2) an open end allowing discharge of debris; 3) a mounting plate for attachment to said prime mover; and 4) a powered debris engager configured to accept power from said powered mobile prime mover.
