Railway weed control vehicle
The present invention relates to a railway weed control vehicle. It is described to activate (110) at least one weed control unit to control weeds along and around a railway track. The railway track comprises rails and sleepers. The at least one electrode based weed control unit is mounted at at least one first position of the vehicle. Sensor data is acquired (120) by at least one sensor. The sensor data relates to at least one location along and around the railway track. The at least one sensor is mounted at at least one second position of the vehicle. With respect to a forward movement direction of the vehicle the at least one second position is in front of the at least one first position. The sensor data is provided (130) to a processing unit. The sensor data is analysed (140) by the processing unit to determine locations of rail infrastructure components in addition to the rails and sleepers. The processing unit modifies (150) activation of one or more electrode based weed control units of the at least one electrode based weed control unit comprising utilisation of at least one location of the determined locations of the rail infrastructure components.
System and method for adjusting torque distribution
A system and method herein relate to vehicle control by adjusting a torque distribution of the vehicle. The system includes a first motor configured to provide a torque to a first wheel, and a delivery system configured to controllably apply a traction control compound to a route on which the first wheel is configured to travel. The system also includes a controller circuit having one or more processors. The controller circuit is configured to control the delivery system to apply the traction control compound to the route based on a monitored temperature of the first motor.
System and method for adjusting torque distribution
A system and method herein relate to vehicle control by adjusting a torque distribution of the vehicle. The system includes a first motor configured to provide a torque to a first wheel, and a delivery system configured to controllably apply a traction control compound to a route on which the first wheel is configured to travel. The system also includes a controller circuit having one or more processors. The controller circuit is configured to control the delivery system to apply the traction control compound to the route based on a monitored temperature of the first motor.
DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR MELTING SNOW AND ICE OF A RAILWAY
A device for heating of railway tracks is provided. The device comprises a magnetic field generator fed with a low-frequency current. The magnetic field generator is formed by a device without a circuit returning a magnetic flux generated by the magnetic field generator. Hereby the magnetic flux can be returned via a heater. The heater is a material generating heat when placed in the magnetic field. The heater can be the railway tracks or a plate provided in conjunction with the railway tracks.
Particle removing arrangement for an electric vehicle
A particle removing arrangement is adapted to remove particles from the upper contact surface of an electric rail in an electric highway by the use of an airflow, where the particle removing arrangement is arranged in front of a current collector of a vehicle, where the particle removing arrangement includes an inlet opening for inlet of air and an outlet opening for outlet of air, where the inlet opening is directed in a forward direction and the outlet opening is directed in a sideway to rearward direction in relation to the driving direction of the vehicle, and where the particle removing arrangement creates a particle removing airflow from a forward movement of the vehicle. Particles can be removed from an electric rail without the use of an external power source. The particles can also be removed in a contact-less manner, such that there is no friction or abrasion between the particle removing arrangement and the electric rail.
Weatherproof track and contact for electrical feeding of road vehicles
A contact device (1) directly or indirectly connectable to a vehicle and adapted to co-act mechanically and electrically with a track (2) comprising an electric conductor (7) put under voltage and located in a road section (6) on which the vehicle is travelling, in order to supply electric voltage to at least one electric motor which propels the vehicle, wherein the contact device (1) is displaceable upwards, downwards and laterally and comprises at least one current collector and at least one cleansing device (4). The current collector (3) comprises a sliding contact (8) configured to be brought into mechanical and electrical contact with at least a vertical side wall portion of the track.

RAIL CONDITIONING SYSTEM
A rail conditioning system associated with a locomotive is provided. The locomotive operates on a rail. The rail conditioning system includes a fluid supply tank. The rail conditioning system also includes a first nozzle coupled to the locomotive. The first nozzle is adapted to direct a first beam of fluid received from the fluid supply tank towards a first portion of the rail. The rail conditioning system further includes a second nozzle coupled to the locomotive. The second nozzle is adapted to direct a second beam of fluid received from the fluid supply tank towards a second portion of the rail. The rail conditioning system includes a valve element provided in fluid communication with the first and second nozzles. The rail conditioning system further includes a control module in communication with the valve element.
Brake system having an electromagnetic track brake device
A brake control device for a brake system, wherein the brake system has at least one electromagnetic track brake device, which can be supplied with current at variable amperage according to the brake control device to create a braking force, and wherein the brake control device is designed to actuate the at least one electromagnetic track brake device at a cleaning amperage during travel in order to clean a rail. Also disclosed is a brake system having such a brake control device, a rail vehicle, and a method for cleaning a rail by means of an electromagnetic track brake device.

Also disclosed is a brake system having such a brake control device, a rail vehicle, and a method for cleaning a rail by means of an electromagnetic track brake device.
