Water treatment apparatus
10807881 · 2020-10-20 ·

A water treatment apparatus that includes a weir with an upstream wall, a downstream wall, side walls, a base and a top opening. Located inside the weir is a chamber. Formed on the upstream wall is an influent port hole that allows water flowing against the upstream wall to flow into the chamber. Formed on the downstream wall is an effluent port hole that allows water to exit the chamber. Located inside the chamber is water treatment equipment. When the weir is placed in a waterway with the upstream wall facing upstream and the influent port hole is at least partially submerged, water flows into the influent port hole and into the chamber and undergoes treatment by the water treatment equipment. The water then flows against the inside surface of the downstream wall and exits the weir through the effluent port hole and returns to the waterway downstream.

Water intake floating row cleaning system and construction method thereof

The invention relates to a water intake floating row cleaning system, including first vertical guide rail assemblies, a floating row, submersible pumps, water spraying assemblies, second vertical guide rail assemblies, floating fences and pumping assemblies, wherein the water spraying assemblies are communicated with the submersible pumps, and the submersible pumps pump the water of the river channel and spray the water towards the outside through the water spraying assemblies; and the floating fences stretch across the water intakes and float along with a water level, and the pumping assemblies are used for pumping out garbage blocked by the floating fences. The invention has the effect of efficiently cleaning the floating garbage at the water intakes.

Stream debris restraining structure
10767330 · 2020-09-08 · ·

A structure for restraining debris in a stream, including lateral walls, which delimit between them a flow section in a bed of the stream. This flow section includes an upper portion that includes set between the lateral walls, a structure for retaining material arriving from upstream, and a lower portion that identifies an opening for outflow.

Bottom boom
10753057 · 2020-08-25 ·

A bottom boom and method of use is disclosed for containing heavy or sinking oils which migrate on an underwater floor. The bottom boom is comprised of an upper wall, a lower wall that abuts an underwater floor, a support structure and a ballast section. The upper wall and lower wall when properly supported by support structure provides an upright barrier to guide or stop heavy non-floating oils on an underwater floor. The support structure is a series of chambers, longitudinally spaced between the upper and lower walls of the bottom boom, such that when each chamber is filled with water the chambers vertically support the upper wall at an angle above the lower wall and horizontally maintain the lower walls width thus forming said upright barrier. Additionally the chambers can be filled with air to expedite recovery of bottom boom from underwater floor.

Balanced sediment throughput reservoir dredging

A system for excavating sediment deposits from water storage reservoirs that equalizes the mass flow of sediment entering the reservoir with the sediment mass in the combined discharge from a dredge and the reservoir outlet system to the downstream water course. One or more remote instrument stations located on the inflow streams to the reservoir collect data that is used by the dredge control system to adjust the mass flow output from the dredge using data collected from the remote reservoir outlet instrumentation located downstream of the reservoir.

Fine mesh fish larvae protection system for traveling water screens

A traveling water screen comprises a basket having a frame including an upper portion, a lower portion, and side portions, a coarse screen secured to the frame, a fine screen overlay attachable to the coarse screen, and a bucket portion secured to a lower portion of the frame, comprising an inner wall surface, and at least one deflector secured to the inner wall surface.

BAR SCREEN FILTER APPARATUS AND METHOD
20200149239 · 2020-05-14 ·

Apparatus for removing debris from channeled water that includes a bar screen assembly. The assembly includes a plurality of spaced apart screen bars, each bar having an upstream edge and a downstream edge and distal ends to which U-shaped clips are attached. Each of the clips has a bar engaging portion and a cross member engaging portion that attaches to an associated cross member. The clips operate to space the trailing edge of the screen bars a predetermined distance from associated cross members and allow easy replacement of a bar. A continuous conveyor carries a plurality of rakes having a plurality of spaced apart tines which are adapted to fit between the screen bars as the rake is moved along the bars by the conveyor. The tines of the rake have a length that substantially spans the distance between the leading edge and trailing edge of a bar, so that tips of the rake tines extend to at least the trailing edge of an associated bar. Intermediate clips may be used to support the intermediate section of the screen bars.

Screening device

A screening device for separating out and removing contaminants from wastewater includes two continuous conveyors, which are mounted with clearance from each other. Each has a drive wheel that is guided on a circular path and includes a fixedly situated bar screen, which includes multiple mutually spaced grating bars for removing contaminants from the wastewater. Each bar screen includes multiple clearing elements, which are connected to the conveyor for removing from the bar screen the contaminants that have been separated out by the bar screen. The bar screen forms a fixed screen surface that extends, in the intended installation position of the screening device, essentially in the flow direction of the wastewater reaching the screening device.

Method and device for treating cyanobacteria in water area based on biological competition principle

The invention discloses a method and a device for treating cyanobacteria in a water area based on the principle of biological competition, the method comprising: finding an area where cyanobacteria most easily accumulate, i.e. a concave bank of a water area, and setting up an algae interception net around the area; quickly and largely clearing the cyanobacteria in the area by means of manual or mechanical catching; planting emerged plants on the shoreline of the water area to fundamentally improve water quality; and additionally, densely arranging treatment tanks in a larger water area to kill the cyanobacteria gradually, and collecting dead cyanobacteria to prevent them from polluting the water area subsequently; and collecting and treating the tanks regularly for recycling.
