HYBRID FIXED/FLOATING MARINE STRUCTURES
A marine structure including a floating deck attached to a damper configured to control the vertical movement of the deck. The damper allows vertical motion of the floating deck in response to gradual changes in water level such as tidal changes, but resists bouncing of the deck in response to shorter term fluctuations in water level such as boat wakes or wind chop.
METHOD AND DEVICE TO CREATE A FOUNDATION AS WELL AS A FOUNDATION
A method and a device to create a foundation in which a foundation pipe is driven into the soil. At least one bore is created into the soil in the perimeter area of the foundation pipe to insert before ramming by means of a drilling tool the diameter of which is significantly smaller than a diameter of the foundation pile. The soil material removed during drilling remains essentially within the bore. Furthermore, a foundation with a foundation pipe which is created accordingly.

PNEUMATIC OR HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED LINEAR DRIVER
A linear driver is provided and particularly, but not exclusively, to a linear driver for use in the field of civil engineering or construction, for example in the formation of piles or piers as foundations. The driver includes a weighted sleeve slidable relative a driving member, and a valve arrangement to control the linear movement of the weighted sleeve relative to the driving member. Closing the valve arrangement serves to stop movement of the weighted sleeve and transfer momentum to the driving member without physical impact between the weighted sleeve and the driving member.

Data Capture Device and System
A data capture device and a data capture system are provided. The data capture device is configured to navigate along an elongate structure. The data capture device includes a surface scanner, for scanning a surface of the elongate structure; and a sensor, for capturing data relating to the elongate structure. The surface scanner and the sensor are configured to capture data relating to a common region.

Suction pile equipment
Disclosed embodiments include a suction pile vent plug having a cylindrically-shaped body having a sealing element, a plurality of coupling features, and a handle connected to the cylindrically-shaped body. The sealing element is configured to form a watertight seal with walls of a suction pile vent into which the vent plug is installed. The plurality of coupling features are configured to engage with corresponding coupling features of the suction pile vent. The movable handle is configured to be moved into one or more locked configurations. Disclosed embodiments further include a suction pile vent having a hollow cylindrically-shaped body having coupling features. The coupling features are configured to engage with corresponding coupling features of a suction pile vent plug to thereby mechanically couple the suction pile vent plug to the suction pile vent. Disclosed embodiments further include a fluidic port that fluidically couples a suction pile to a removable fluidic coupling.
Passive Grout Seal
A passive annular grout seal assembly is disclosed for sealing an annular opening between a driven pile and a skirt pile sleeve for an offshore platform. The annular seals are located at the bottom of the pile sleeves near sea floor and automatically activated when piles are inserted and driven through the pile sleeves without any active operational procedure during offshore piling. The seal configuration fully utilizes the seal height, the grout column height and the density difference between grout and sea water to produce enhanced sealing capacity against the column of grout above.
